This property was exactly what we needed for the night. The road is somewhat loud during the day, but traffic dramatically drops off at night. Slept well here.
Property was clean. Breakfast could have been better.
Property has a 1930's feel and decor. Room was clean but small. No air conditioning.
Availability and location to event. Friendly staff
DEL NORTE was a great surprise stop. What a find ! This is a great place to stop - the rooms are great and the dining room and bar are much more than you would expect of a small town ! Also these is a great craft brewery - three barrels brewery which has amazing beer and light food ! Very Highly ...
Very nice hotel, staff very friendly and accommodating, The breakfast selection and quality was great. :) Only thing I didn't care for was the stairway walls were very dirty with black marks and dirt. The rest of the hotel was well kept.
We've stayed here before, great parking for our camper trailer. Staff are SO nice. Room is clean, and has what we need. My only issue was, and it's a minor issue, but one that irks me whenever I encounter it in a motel. The cheap toilet paper! One ply, really? Not a place to save money, believe me, ...
Large rooms, clean, comfortable beds, and easily adjustable air conditioning/heat. However, there were a couple of minor plumbing issues which I advised the hotel of upon check out.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent. It included biscuits and gravy, omelets, pastries, greek yogurt, waffles and more. Beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel!
Bring your imagination on vacation too, at Monte Vista Historical Society.
To get there, you'll need to head off the beaten track a bit and head to Alamosa, 160 miles from the state capital, Denver.
Make sure that your trip is cost-effective by choosing to stay at a budget hotel, like the Sandhill Inn & Suites, just 0.4 miles away.
Enjoy a caffeine hit and treat your sweet tooth at Java Dave's. Within a short walk of Monte Vista Historical Society, it's the perfect place to have a break from all that exploring. When the sun sets, refuel with a hearty dinner at Nino's Mexican Family Restaurant. You'll be pleased to know that this spot is also nearby. You'll definitely want to really get the party started at Spectators, one of this neighborhood's most bustling bars.
