Not worth all inclusive price
Posted Aug 19, 2016
I spent 1 day/ night at this hotel to attend a business event next day at a closely location. The property is centrally located, near airport, Checked in at about 3pm and lunch at the buffet was to close at 5pm. With over 2 hours to close though, the desert station looked like left overs, buffet line was unkept, food spilled all over. After sitting, nobody attended to me for over 10 minutes. I thought even to get water was self serve. Food was tasteless and barely warm. Best thing was soup and garlic bread. Even the local dishes were poor, and I know Jamaican food. Beverage options was 2 sugary drinks in fast food type drink fountain. Requested extra pillows on expedia and reminded front desk on check-in. Had to ask for a Manager minutes to 10pm when still didn't get them. My room was on side of main road hence traffic noise at night and early morning. Not enough to prevent rest but annoying still.
Room is ok, facilities mediocre. Having been to numerous all inclusive hotels in Jamaica this is not worth the all inclusive name. Yes, much more affordable but fact is all that is included is food. There is a pool but NO other "all inclusive" options. I do not recommend for all inclusive price. Find a regular room only hotel and explore dining options at your pleasure. Don't pay for food which is poor and then forced to eat there because you already paid for it.
Staff is generally very pleasant. Will try to attach pictures if possible
