Terrible quality, service and price

Let's start off with the roaches that welcomed us coming off of the elevator and in our room. The security guards are rude, nasty and unprofessional. The food is bland, terrible and the waitresses at Orchid have no sense of service.

Bahia Is The Place To Stay

Pros: The friendly staff and the food.
Cons: Rooms need improvement.
Location: Runaway Bay, Jamaica. All the excursions I wanted were a half an hour away. We climbed Dunn's River Falls, went to Dolphin Cove, Green Grotto Caves
I had the most amazing time at this hotel. Food was great, staff was super friendly. Pool was amazing and the beach was just so warm and inviting. The drinks were amazing!!!

Great view. Disappointing customer service

Pros: The cleanliness of the grounds. The view from my room was breathtaking. The pool and the beach were well maintaIned. The a la carte restaurants great.
Cons: Customer service. AC in the elevator.
Location: Great location. Dolphin Cove, glistening lagoon, Dunns River, mystic mountain
The staff was unprofessional and seem like they lacked basic customer service training. The food was mediocre. The toilet clogged. The lights in the hallway went out and I informed the front desk. It was addressed but went out again. No AC in the elevator. Everyday, I detected a pungent smell (like sewage) on the path from the pool to the elevator.

don't stay at grand bahia, montego bay, jamaica

Pros: food in buffet area was excellent.
Cons: room service, managements
terrible, terrible experience staying at grand bahia montego bay Jamaica. Huge facilities but very lack of the managements. from receiving guest to check out guest. Made reservations 5 months ahead for 2 rooms, both rooms were mile apart, single bed instead of 2. everyday no bath towels,no water, after 5-6 phone calls and 2 hours will get the towels and may be water next day. Reservations in restaurants are useless. twice in two different restaurants name is not in the list yet we have the confirmation receipt in our hand. Always overbooked. lots of guest not satisfied. Huge facility, enough employees but no one wants to work. need better managements to look after their employees. They will take your tips yet not do the job. Go with smaller facility with more positive reviews. but definitely not this one.. save your money and time

The food

Pros: Safety, the taxi drivers were good. The rooms were clean and the place seemed pretty organized for how big it was.
Cons: food could be much better but maybe if we stayed at a smaller place next time it would be better. We had a problem with our bus drive to the airport.
Location: pretty convenient to most things. I wouldn't take the JTL bus again. The private tours/drivers were much better. Orviille was kind of a punk
We enjoyed our stay. The food was pretty disappointing but overall it was a good experience if you delete the food out of the stay. The best food we had was the Japanese grill an the jerk chicken from the grill. For all of the money we spent it was pretty disappointing but we made it work. I was expecting something better. The pools were great and we felt safe with our teenage daughters so that made it a good experience. Most of the staff seemed pretty nice.
