Beautiful hotel and Beautiful people

Pros: The people, the food, the view and the drinks!
Cons: Room service should start at 7:00A.M. and 100% should serve coffee to the rooms!!! Our coffee maker was broke. They should make sure everything works!
Location: Everything was convenient and wonderful.
Hotel is beautiful as well as the people. The rooms are large with great view however, a lot of things were not working which started out trip to a 2 day rough start.

Pros: Facilities, staff and cleanliness were very good.
Cons: Food choice and quality. Entertainment should be more than just native dancing.
Location: Didn't do anything outside the resort nearby. We didn't know of anything. We took a day trip to Dunn River Falls and an evening trip to Rick's Cafe.
The food quality was not what we expected at a quality resort. The buffets for lunch basically had the same thing every day. The Jerk chicken, which we were told was great in Jamaica, was just grilled chicken like we get in Baltimore. The best Jerk chicken was at a dive hut along the road that our taxi cab driver took us too. The actual resort, facilities and activities were what we expected at a quality resort. While our stay, five days, we thought we would hear Bob Marley and Reggae music everywhere. None. We didn't hear any Reggae or Marley till we went to Rick's Cafe, which was the highlight of the trip.

With 3 buffets restaurants, 7 a la carte restaurants and a 22 hours snack bar we want to believe that there is adequate variety for all our guests. We make every effort to play local music as much as possible, but I’m sure you will agree that a hotel of this size caters for a wide clientele with unique expectations and preferences. Nice-looking resort

This is a beautiful looking resort however as far as customer service cleanliness and food I would not rated at all . Me and my family we traveled we arrived Monday late night we came to our room and it was dirty then they switched to our room to a different room and one of the employees was sleeping in it then they have to put us in a different room where there was no room number and in the middle of the night people were trying to get into our room however we locked it from the inside with the chain on the door. The following day we wasted by getting our room changed and this took several hours because you were traveling with a 2 1/2 year-old considering naptime and cleaning of the other room and moving. Once that was out of the way it was two days of actually somewhat nice vacation and then I got food poisoning and I am 5 1/2 months pregnant. The staff some people are very very nice and some people are just looking to get tipped or sell you something on the side. When I asked the employees for a certain fruit that they had out a couple of hours ago they would tell me they have no more and then I would see in a couple hours later during dinner or lunch. However the pool the main pool is absolutely gorgeous. I think it's one of the biggest on the island and I must say it's really nice, it whether they have games going on fitness going on you have so much room to go swimming and more than enough room for peace and quiet if you want to just relax in the pool.

Wonderful getaway spot--waves, warmth, comfort

Pros: The wonderful location, friendly staff, multiple activity offerings and the dining options
Cons: We had slight communication difficulties between Expedia and Lady Hamilton that were remedied but it made our check in less than seamless.
Location: On site tours are offered for various Jamaica special activities. Lady Hamilton has a variety of pools and beach front to suit a variety of people...
Lady Hamilton has never let us down! We enjoyed our sixth visit this year. All the staff are welcoming and bring joy and warmth to those around them! The restaurant choices in the evening were varied and provided something for every appetite. We loved our villa--watching the water from our patio was a welcome treat for people from the snowy icy north!The redecorated rooms were very attractive and functional...We loved the spa services and staff--simply walking in the door of the spa was soothing and healing...the massage services were excellent!

All Inclusive Worry Free

Pros: Enjoyed the pool and beach the most.
Cons: More information could be provided regarding activities at the hotel such as the complimentary non-motorized water sports.
Location: we did not venture off the property.
The hotel is a very nice property hosting a huge pool that never feels crowded. The hotel is also right on the beach making the beach or pool a daily option. Hotel staff is accommodating and pleasant. Food is plentiful and restaurants easily accessible. The ala-carte restaurants offer a nice variety and higher quality of food as compared to the buffet restaurants.

Great Hotel nice beaches

This hotel is very nice quick check in, staff very friendly, workers cleaned all day. My room was on the beach, cleaned daily, nice drinks and food, cant wait to go back.

Horrible !!!!!

Pros: nothing
Cons: when you have construction at least tell people how its going to be- the hotel wont say because they would not get any people !!!!!!!! horrible to say
Location: we went to Negril and liked it there.
We paid alot to come her & there was horrible construction , noise , dust & could not get around. we will never come back and tell everyone. The hotel said thet would get us champange and candy- they knew it was bad.. never did. most people we taliked to on property agreed. this noise was from 7 am until midnight. I think we should get a total refund.

Best Christmas

Lovely hotel, can't fault it really. The staff are excellent and the lady Hamilton section is beautiful. The food was 4/5. The only issue I had was that the pool was very cold. My 10 month old loves water, but we didn't go in much as it felt like we were having an ice bath.

Beautiful Renovation

Pros: Lady Hamilton Rooms, covered walk ways, snorkeling off beach.
Cons: Employee attitude. Give Lady Hamilton guests reservation privileges. Help in the cafe. A new jetty to protect the main beach sand.
Location: Very remote from Montego Bay and Negril.
Booked the hotel because of the recent renovation. The Lady Hamilton rooms and renovated restaurants where very nice. The main beach was much smaller than the photos during our stay and the resort was trucking in sand as fast as it wash away in the waves. We found the hidden beach a nice retreat from the wave and loud music of the pool area. The food was as expected from a large all inclusive resort. The resorts employees were a mixed bag. There were some very friendly Jamician's that you would find at many of the other resorts but I found a large percentage of the employees were just "making" it through their work day. This became a drag after 3 or 4 days. I would have to blame the employee attitude on upper management. The resort is somewhat remote and requires an expensive taxi drive to get around. The buildings felt like I was at a 4 star resort but the staff and clientele 3 star.
