Beautiful family vacation

This was perhaps the best family vacation ever. First, the weather was perfect. Second, the hotel was beautiful, we couldn't find anything negative to say. The staff was outstanding!! ( Verona, shenika, delroy, Chavell, Cecilia... Just to name a few of the staff members who made our stay so comfortable ) Third, the food was outstanding. We love that there were so many traditional foods to try. We were never bored, nor hungry. Went to Dunn's river falls... So worth the trip! Jamaica is an island with so much to offer . Definitely going back to Hilton rose hall !!!

Hotel is fine, tourist-y. NEVER BOOK THRU EXPEDIA

Pros: hotel has good food
Cons: workout facility
Location: its a resort- Its basically like being in the USA only fenced in on a really scenic beach with guys that have machine guns guarding the outer reaches
Expedia is the worst. If you are traveling abroad Expedia blocks all of the 1st parties (actual hotel, airline or companies providing lodging or transportation) from accessing itinerary, and utilize a customer service platform that will keep you on hold for HOURS. It is the same price to book hotel and flight separately. I will never again do business with Expedia.

Excellent hotel prefect food choices

We have a fantastic time. This is our second visit and we will definitely visting again. We loved the wide selection of restaurants staff service and attitude was excellent. We always had a sun bed never a problem. Entertainment was varied ticked the box for us. We stayed in a ground floor ocean view room truly breathtaking view. nightly disco experience poor needs refreshing. Management visible and attentive daily.

Comparison trip of a resort to a cruise

we were greeted with rum punch and cold towels, and i just knew this was going to be the start to a great vacation and it was. we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. all in all we realized a resort is definitely for those who would like to relax on their vacation which is not bad if thats what you like to do. we took the shopping trip in the afternoon with JTL. was a cheap easy way to venture off the resort and see other areas of Jamaica without spending too much on an excursion. also we were nervous since it is a family resort that there would be a surplus amount of children running around and wouldnt care for it, but it actually ended up being fine for the time we went. not very crowded at all. Pros: nice weather, wasnt crowded (May 7-10th), friendly staff, food was good, no ocean view needed (had garden view and was able to see the ocean) Cons: not many night activities, small bathroom

Nice hotel, great staff, but "bubble" Jamaica

Pros: Rolando (Renaldo?) was our bartender at Moonstone and he was a ROCK STAR. So helpful, so funny. We had a great time with him. The staff was amazing.
Cons: Less isolation - more authenticity.
Location: Rose Hall Great House tour is nearby - hokey but fun, and some history.
This was a great place - and a great staff, but we really needed to get out of the bubble they've created there to get to know the real Jamaica and its people more clearly. Get out and do what you can (safely), take excursions, talk to locals, talk to your bartender - all of that. In terms of the facilities, they did a beautiful job designing and upkeeping. Our room was so well tended for, the food was fantastic.

Nice beachfront all-inclusive with excellent staff

Pros: Service and food
Cons: Less restriction on dining... Luna di Mare shouldn't close on weekend.
Location: There's not much to do nearby. There is a free shuttle from Hilton that takes guests to a small shopping area and also to the Rose Hall Plantation.
We did a girls trip to Hilton Rose Hall and this hotel exceeded my expectation. The service was excellent. Everywhere we went, from the restaurants to the bar, there were plenty of staff to see to our needs. I didn't expect much from an all-inclusive hotel in terms of food but the food was excellent. The Three Palms restaurant and Moonstone was excellent. The Seaside Grill had great Jerk chicken and right by the beach so we had a great view. The pasta at Moonstone was so good. Only downside was Luna di Mare wasn't opened on weekend (why would it close on weekend when people usually vacation?) so we didn't get to try that restaurant. The way it was laid out, there were plenty of space for guests to spread out. We didn't go to the waterpark (pool with slide and small lazy river) and we didn't use the pool but we went kayaking (included) and took out the catamaran (free if you know how to sail else just tip the guy to take you out). I have to say, I've been to lots of Caribbean islands and the people who work here at Hilton are the nicest and friendliest. Will definitely recommend.

Wonderful kid and family resort

Pros: Almost everything!
Cons: Very strict non smoking policy..even outdoors! Not very much nightlife.
Location: Shopping, excursions. Very close to airport so no long drives.
The rooms and beach are gorgeous! The beaches and pools are clean and uncrowded! The food is close to the best food I have ever had at a resort!

Great hotel for the price...

Pros: Family oriented. Beautiful new addition to the beach.
Cons: Get the guest more involved with the activities.
Location: We loved the zip line. Very safety conscious. Staff was excellent !
Everything was great! Very family oriented!😊 Very hard working staff. Pizza making was a hit, also enjoyed the jerk chicken & pork to go was good.. Staff was very helpful. If you get stung by a jellyfish. Use rubbing alcohol immediately. It was great that they sold it right in the store.

Very clean and friendly

Was not as happy with the food as much as in 2011, but overall was better than most resorts we have been to. Also seemed like staff was expecting tips all the time which got annoying. Pools and scuba center were awesome and golf course was great.

Place to relax

Pros: It was quiet and comfortable, with excellent entertainment. We also loved reclining at the beach.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: The location was excellent but, the place could use a city type bus system. The cabbies are absolute vultures.
We went there mainliy to rest and enjoy pure relaxation and are pleased to announce : mission accomplished.
