Nice FacilitiesPosted Nov 26, 2015
Pros: Nice location
Cons: Please have everything that's on the Menu available as it was paid for.
The Hotel was nice but the fact that its all inclusive and runs out of Premium Liquor for its guests is unbelievable. Why do people pay for it if its not available.

The Absolute Best Hotel to Stay for Total LuxuryPosted Nov 24, 2015
Pros: Everyone was super nice and accommodating. The swim up pool bar was the absolute best and the entertainment was light hearted and fun.
Cons: Just letting us know what's going on in the hotel and on the other resorts entertainment wise and also letting us know that excursions book quickly.
Location: There are expedia agents on the premises that can book all your activities right in the resort which is awesome. We did ALOT of activities.
We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall Hotel. It was such an amazing experience we would definitely do it all again right now! Every single person on the resort was super friendly, warm and welcoming and treated us like royalty. When they say all inclusive they definitely mean high quality all inclusive. My only tip is to book your excursions and activities the moment you get there, book your dinner reservations while you're checking in and ask everyone especially the people in the entertainment sector about the events and fun activities going on. We made the mistake not asking any questions and didn't realize this until the last night but please know you can go to the other resorts and they have different events going on than the one on Grand's premises.

5-star hotelPosted Nov 23, 2015
My husband and I celebrated his 60th birthday at the Grand Hotel. It was our first experience at an Iberostar Resort and we having nothing negative to say about our stay there. It was truly paradise! The dining experience at all the restaurants were exceptionally good, the staff was extremely friendly and responsive to our needs, the recreation staff made it fun and kept us laughing and the entertainment was very enjoyable and professional each night. The pool and beach facilities were great. We would definitely recommend this resort and look forward to going back.

Excellent trip in all but with a couple quirksPosted Nov 23, 2015
Pros: Friendliness Cleanliness Hotel bar musical talent Breakfast and lunch buffets
Cons: Don't expect much from the butler. They are spread thin. Had to ask to have the minibar restocked Service drive off the back of premium suites
Location: $35 each way to and from the airport. There are shuttles to the shops on the hour.
My wife stayed in an Iberostar hotel in Punta Cana, DR and loved it so we figured would give the one in Jamaica a shot. Every member of the staff was kind and friendly. We booked the room with the swim-out pool from the back patio. It was quite nice except it was on the service drive for the staff so could get loud during shift changes. There were golf carts and food carts driving by every few minutes so loud for that afternoon nap I was looking to get after. The restaurants had a wide range of quality. The Surf N Turf was excellent. Fresh and well prepared. The Italian was worse than Sbarro in terms of quality. If we could do it again we would eat at the Surf N Turf everyday. The buffets for lunch and breakfast were quite nice. Lots of options and fresh. The entertainment also had a wide range of quality. There were some phenomenal performers in the lobby playing piano and singing but we went to the Reggae Show at the theater and left about 10 minutes in. Just not our style. We booked massages and when we went they had overbooked so after hanging out an hour we left. They felt terrible and gave my wife an 80 minute for the price of 50 minute the next day. She said it was the best massage she has ever gotten and she is experienced in that regard. Other strange things: minibar was only re-stocked once in 4 days there, food trays were left outside the room for several hours and the butler service was shared with several rooms and forgot our requests a few times.

Incredible vacation!Posted Nov 23, 2015
Pros: The service and the staff were top notch. Hotel itself was nice and the rooms were great.
Cons: Less bees at the swim up bar.
Location: location was great but truthfully we had such a great time at the resort we never left it!!
My husband and I go yearly with his sister and her husband on a hot vacation and we by far would say this was the best experience ever. We kept saying our word of the trip was "incredible". The service and the staff made it. Anything you wanted or needed was taken care of for you without any fuss which is such a huge part of any "incredible" vacation. From the time we checked in all the way to the time we checked out it was top notch. We would definitely go back in fact having a hard time going anywhere else just because it might not compare.

Terrible ExperiencePosted Nov 22, 2015
Pros: The swimming pools were awesome and accessible.
Cons: They should improve their customer service skills the staffs were unpleasant. There also seem a lack of communication with the management and staffs t
Location: Great Location
I am extremely disappointed at my most recent stay at the Iberostar Grand Hotel Rose Hall in Montego Bay, Jamaica. I stayed at the hotel from October 30 to November 2. On Saturday, October 31 at 1:00AM, I heard a noise coming from the bathroom and when I checked, I was in total shocked to see the bathroom ceiling was leaking. There was brown water leaking from the ceiling with a bad odor. I called the front desk and reported the problem and the agent informed me that they would send someone to my room. However, it took the ‘management’ two days before they sent someone to my room to fix the water leak. I also paid for 24 hours butler service, and I stayed at the hotel for three days, and I saw my butler one time during my 3 days stay.

Everything appears to be okayPosted Nov 17, 2015
Pros: Excellent food, beautiful pool and beach, CLEAN, entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping and turndown service was THE BEST!
Cons: It was too hard to get the right dinner reservations at the date and times specified. Again, why ask the butler if he can't do it for you anyway???
Location: Never left the resort!
At a glance, the service is excellent, grounds are spotless, rooms are divine. The butler shows up every day asking if he can do anything for you. Just don't make the mistake of actually requesting anything. I waited 3 days for white wine in my minibar. This was my 2nd visit to the Grand. Last year they decorated my room on my birthday. This year, there was no 'welcome back' nor did they decorate, even though they asked at check in if I was here for a special occasion (yes - birthday!) and 'first time?' (no - 2nd!) I only received the daily schedule under my door 3 times. Other days I was left wondering what time the activities were, and which restaurants were closed. You're their most important guest until something more important comes along. They actually removed all the beach umbrellas from the pool area one day, to set up on the beach for a company party. Um, you would think for a FIVE STAR hotel, they would keep some extra umbrellas on hand! The beach lifeguard Maurice did an excellent job, in fact I saw him rescue a kayaker in distress one day. I think if this is your first visit, you will love it. If you return expecting the same excellent service, you might be underimpressed. Personally, for the price difference, I might try the Suites next year.
