Very friendly staff. Very nice environment and great food. However, WiFi should be included in the package for free. Paying $20 a day for WiFi is a ripoff.

Always like staying there location is great. The food over the last few years has gone down hill. Chicken and bake beans every meal. And less choices.

Great location and facilities

Excellent location on the hip strip with easy access to lots of local shops. The hotel grounds was reasonable with excellent pools and beach. It also had lots of places to catch some sun. Rooms were OK with balcony overlooking ocean. They were dated and bathroom musty and mouldy. The food was horrible and the staff not particularly pleasant

RD Montego Beach is a sister hotel to the RD Cornwall in MoBay. Whilst at the RDC we were able to use the facilities at both hotels and assumed (yes, I know...) that the same set up would apply when staying at RDMB, unfortunately as we were informed at check in, that was not the case. The only area of RDC we could use was the beach and in fact we were challenged by security even when walking into and through RDC. Our room was not ready when we arrived, but the rum punches were! And we were given the penthouse rooms. Unfortunately there was no hot water and the balcony had piles of dirt on it, but that was sorted out the next day. The food was good, varied and abundant. Except for the 'fine dining' restaurant. We had visited 6 months ago at our prior stay and ended up leaving because the food was simply no where near as good as the buffet food. Even with all the feedback from customers, the food had not improved. We had a deja vu experience returning to the buffet after attempting another meal from this restaurant. That would have been fine, even $2 for a fridge and $20 for internet would have been fine had it not been for the wine. After trying my first glass, I sent it back because it had obviously gone off (light tan in colour rather than golden, with a sour / sweet smell) and asked the bartender when he had opened the bottle, he said he'd just opened it and that, 'Nobody likes this wine.' No one finished a glass. That may have been because it was spoiled?!

It's an amazing hotel i enjoyed my stay staff are friendly and curtious the bartender Keino he's great
