Outside areas (parking lot, spa/pool, hotel exterior) could use maintenance. Beds were too firm for our liking, but others might like. Air conditioner in our room didn’t work. Free breakfast was very good.

Our stay was great. The room was just what we needed. They even honored our request for 2 adjacent rooms. My only complain was the parking, or the lack or parking.

Room was pretty clean and spacious. Bedding was soft and the AC blows ice cold. Parking stalls are really close to the units - liked it. They had breakfast but the room was very small and not enough space to get around, especially when people are sitting inside eating.

Can hear neighbors as if they are in your room. When I called, they said pool was open year-round, but pool was freezing and hot tub was as warm as the pool should’ve been, and hot tub jets didn’t work. Bathroom had a broken window that led to an alley. Staff was super nice, but I wouldn’t stay again. I didn’t feel safe, so it made it hard to sleep.

It’s was an over night say. It’s an older hotel that’s been updated with hardwood floors, crown molding, sink mirror. Beds were comfortable.

Clean and Quiet
We were impressed with how clean our room was. It’s the reason I chose this hotel. We had a non-smoking room with two queen beds on the second floor. They also have a great breakfast that’s included. My daughter is super picky when it comes to food and she found items she liked. The staff was nice and helpful.

Close to everything in Monterey
We haven’t stayed in a Best Western for a long time, so this was a pleasant surprise. The service at check-in was excellent. The general manager, Esmeralda, was friendly and kind and took care of our needs very well. The room was clean, with a refrigerator and a microwave. Although the bed was a little firm for me, we both slept well. The breakfast had a nice variety of food including the waffle maker (kids will love the toppings available), yogurt, scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage. Our plan was to enjoy Monterey Bay Aquarium and Fisherman’s Wharf, which were both within easy driving distance (remember that public parking has a charge). The Del Monte Shopping Center was less than a 5 minute drive.

Upgrades to the part ocean view room and it had a beautiful view. Very nice for the price. Spa was broken and pool and spa looked dirty anyways. Breakfast isn’t until 7, which was too late for us. Front desk person was nice
