Stay above the third floor...

I have booked this hotel before and booked the king junior suite. Good views, clean room, and not a lot of noise. This time I ended up with the second floor. No view, dirty walls, and a large party. The room felt dirty and outdated.

Absolutely Fantastic!

Pros: EVERYTHING!
Cons: NOTHING NEEDS IMPROVEMENT!
Location: We booked this hotel because it is literally 4 minutes from The Monterey Bay Aquarium, a world class facility that i also highly recommend.
From the moment we opened the door i was kind of in shock at just how spacious it was. We had a room that had two double beds, a gas fireplace, a balcony overlooking the fountain and the bathroom was fabulous. I expected much much less. It was fantastic with its high beamed ceilings on the second floor. A ceiling fan and a kitchenette with a microwave and fridge. Checking in was simple as was checking out. Had i known how beautiful it was i would have scheduled my stay longer.

Sheets were dirty but got a new room right away. Staff was friendly and very helpful

Nice hotel, walking distance to fisherman's wharf

The hotel is close to Monterey night life. We walked to the Salvatore Dali museum. My only complaint is that the room was noisy from street noise.

Lovely space with paper thin walls

The room itself was spacious with a sitting area in addition to two double beds. The gas fireplace was also lovely. The windows looked out over more hotell rooms, but that’s ok. What wasn’t ok was how utterly thin the walls and windows were. There was a large group with kids next to us, and it almost seemed like they were inside our room. The screaming, the television, everything was ridiculously loud. Now, they were obviously really obnoxious and rude guests with no clue how to behave in a way that was respectful of other guests, but some insulation in the walls would have gone a long way to making our stay a whole lot more pleasant.

Good locatiom

Cons: Reduce charge for parking
Location: Near wharf
Overall good room and location and very clean - would have preferred no charge for parking

Beautiful rooms, amazing service, and so close to everything! We checked in late and the girl that helped us was very sweet and accommodating. Thank you for an amazing stay!
