The hotel was simply beautiful. The room was well appointed. The staff was attentive. The breakfast amazing. I really enjoyed my stay. The outside gardens were peaceful, the closest I've ever been to a hummingbird. You will not be disappointed.
We love this spot, it's right across the street from a pretty park and beach, and a great restaurant! It's also a great place to be close to the best places for sunsets and the 17 mile drive. The maid service needs to be improved on! We came back to no towels one day and no new toilet paper, with ...
Our room overlooked the very pretty gardens, well maintained, with roses that were in full bloom and other beautiful shrubbery, at the back of the hotel. The room backed on to a quiet road that was used only by bikes and walkers, so very quiet even at night. We used the Peets coffee house in the ...
I stayed here during a work trip. I thought the room was very cute, the bed was comfy, and the little patio was an extra touch. I did however get bitten by something while I was there, not sure what. Breakfast was okay, but considering the place, not disappointing. I got at the breakfast room at ...
Pros: microwave and fridge are great since you can keep some actually healthy food. Wifi is included. Room is clean. Bathroom is nice. Plenty of easy to access power outlets. Quick drive to downtown. Cons: wifi is slow at times. Walls are thin, so bring some headphones or eat plugs!
From the moment we arrived to when the valet pulled our car around when we were leaving the staff and this hotel were wonderful ! The staff was amazing, the views incredible !!! We will be back and highly recommend !
Hotel 1110 was the perfect place to stay for a romantic weekend during the Monterey Jazz Festival. It is a European-style hotel at a great location and a wonderful rooftop terrace. The breakfast included with room price was a real treat and great value. The elegant table setting and the warm popover ...
Came for a family wedding. They definitely will not let you check-in a minute early. Romantic hotel - facilities a little dated though. Old 19 inch tv. We enjoyed our room overlooking Alvarado but may be a bit noisy for those that prefer quiet. Would stay again.
Located about 1/2 between the aquarium and Carmel. It didn't take long to get anywhere in the Monterey area. Whole Foods is across the street, great for buying fruit and drinks. Hotel is a pretty good if you are looking for a place to stay because you will be out most of the day. Hotel could use ...
The only issue I had was a group of noisy neighbors. The room was spotless and kept very tidy. My sincere compliments to the motel staff.
Booked last minute so didn't expect much. Room was clean and comfortable. Outdoor stairs to 2nd floor are looking dangerously unstable. Need to be repaired/replaced. Noticed lots of people smoking out on the common balcony including a woman right outside our door. Our room had a "non smoking room" ...
Room was decent for the price and perfect for one, maybe 2, people. I wish there was a coffee pot in the room, though. Bathroom area appeared to have been redone - nice granite. Bed was comfortable. Close enough to walk to Old Monterey, the wharf and even Cannery Row. Also very close to Del Monte ...
I chose this hotel due to the proximity of the fishermans wharf an whale watching tours. The hotel is in a perfect spot with great staff, especially the breakfast team. Highly recommended this hotel
I love the Lone Oak Lodge for exactly what it is: A clean and well maintained motor hotel, with rinse tanks for scuba divers and hooks outside the doors to hang wetsuits/drysuits in the afternoon. Rooms have been nicely updated with new refrigerators, counters, bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Tiny TV ...
