Pros: Cleaniness and the staff
Cons: the location was a bit noisy due to the road work, other than that it was good.
Location: The main strip was within walking and the Fisherman's Wharf. Had a wonderful time.
We have a wonderful stay, Ben was excellent and very informative. this was close to the main strip but far enough out that we did not get the traffic. The room was very clean, the shower was awesome and price was excellent. Keep up the good work.

Over all my stay here was good. The staff was very nice and went above and beyond recommending what was good to try in the area.

Ok for 1 night stay, walk to Golden State Theatre

Pros: Walking distance to Golden State Theatre performance.
Cons: Bathroom are nicely appointed, but really bolt down the toilets and add another towel rack.
Location is right on noisy street; bring earplugs. (Close to downtown) Old redone motel. Room nicely appointed but toilet not bolted down to tile floor means you feel like you are falling off every time you lean one way or the other. TV kept going black every five minutes or so for a couple of seconds. Cont Bkft ok, nothing special. We were in room 309, phone not connected upon arrival, took several times for clip to snap into place to work. No alarm clock. Use the underground parking and elevator.

Great value, centrally located.

Pros: The location.
It appears to be your standard 60's design hotel/motel, but the rooms have been nicely remodeled. The location is walking distance to most Monterey attractions, and the staff is pleasant and helpful. Overall a good value.

Pleasantly surprise with generous sized room, clean and tidy. Breakfast basic but good. Wood love fresh milk available all hrs for tea and coffee. Better still would love these facilities in room. Centrally located and easy to get around.

It was alright....

We found this place last minute and were happy to. Check in was alright. The gentleman who heckled us in wasn't very friendly and was very short with everyone checking in. It was nice that we were walking distance to the restaurants and wharf. Elevator was having issues. We got in it in the garage to go to our third floor room and just as we got in, we saw the OUT OF SERVICE sign inside and the whole thing was shaking so we decided to take the stairs. The A/C in our room didn't work very well and kept shutting off which was frustrating. The TV turned on but every station was very staticky. At check out we tried to talk to the front desk and just politely let them know that those things were not working and some guy came out of the office frommback behind somewhere and cut us off and said everything was fine and was not nice about it at all Sooooooo we said thank you and left. I mean the place wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either.

Thank yuo for your review. While it has some wrong information in it, you are entitled to you opinion. Currently, as usual, our elevator, all a/c's and tv's work great. As does our free WiFi. Please try us again in the future. You will not be disappointed.

A poor choice of hotel.

Be careful dealing with this motel. We inadvertently booked 2 hotels on the same night and this hotel or Expedia would not provide a refund. We arrived at the hotel on the night that we thought we had booked to discover that it was the previous night (double booked night). As it was late we ended up paying for the night at the hotel only to discover later that they would not pay for the previous night as we did not show. Very upsetting. What compounded the problem was that the motel was not clean including the towels.
