Best value I’ve found in the LA area! Not only were they significantly less than other hotels in the area, Baymont offers free parking AND free breakfast buffet (with eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes, and a waffle maker)! The hotel itself was clean, had comfortable beds, and the surrounding area felt safe. It took us about 18 minutes to get to Dodger Stadium, 20 to reach Santa Monica Pier, and there is a gas station, grocery stores, and restaurants nearby.

Parking is a nightmare. Just know if someone else wants your spot the front desk will call you at 10pm to move your vehicle. The guest services here below standard. Won’t be back and we visit this area on a weekly basis.

My first reaction when i opened the door was "wow" its really nice. The room was small but clean and freshly painted. The decor was pretty. The bed was neat and clean with a white bedspread. The bathroom was well stocked with towels and the shower has body wash, shampoo and conditioner on the wall. There is a desk, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, coffee maker, a luggage stand, tv. Lots of lighting. That room has a small patio with a sliding door. Free breakfast (i did not eat but it looked good). Parking is underground. I would definitely recommend.

Property was dirty on outside and needs power washed for whole building. No wifi at all and I work remotely so couldn’t not use the service I paid for. Along desk agent checking me in did not even offer a discounted rate. On top of that she said I could check into another hotel. Mind you had to go to funeral in hour. After driving for 7 hours. Bad service and no leadership at hotel.

no microwave in hotel rooms. there’s one in the lobby that said to “wipe after each use using cleansing wipes provided” there was no cleaning product of any sort anywhere. kind of gross/weird to share a public microwave with strangers in the hotel. my fault for overseeing that part I guess, but also have never seen such a thing to not have a microwave in the rooms. and you couldn’t even take your breakfast out of the area, you had to sit down and eat there.

We stayed here for one night and did not get a good sleep at all. The walls, floors, and ceilings are so thin, you can hear everything. The ceiling kept squeaking due to just the person above us walking. You can hear doors slamming left and right outside. Other than that, the room is decently clean, parking is easy, and location is convenient.

A Little Sleepy
Overall it was clean, near enough to our destination , The Rose Parade, and the parking was safe. Some problems were the Ice maker on our floor not working, the traffic sounds from the freeway loud, our neighbor left tv on all night so I was a little sleepy.

I didn’t like the location of the hotel. It is located in a heavy traffic area and is difficult to get to when traffic is normal. The bathrooms also need serious remodeling. The windows were grimy and the tub was dirty. The shower curtain seemed like it hadn’t been replaced in some time. Reasonable price considering the area, but you sacrifice cleanliness and convenience.
