Greatest Place

The hotel was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was the greatest, it had the most awesome view of Monterey. I enjoyed being able to look out the window and see the mountains, day or night. It was spectacular.

Second chance

We stayed at this hotel before and it was not a good experience. This time we knew to ask for a remodeled room and the staff was helpful. It wasn't perfect, but it was definitely comfortable and convenient. Having a restaurant on site with decent food and service is a big plus. We will be staying here again soon.

Needs updating

Pros: Hotel restaurant for dinner was very good.
Cons: I did not take advantage of the included breakfast. When I requested a juice to tkae for the road, I was denied since I was not sitting down.
Carpet in room was old, room seemed to always be humid despite having the air conditioner on. Convenient for business trip.

Great location and great staff

Pros: The staff was very good. Liz, a waitress in the restaurant, always had a welcoming smile, and always willing to serve. Jasmine, the housekeeping lady, left my room stocked with everything I needed and cleaned the room very good. Everyone at the reception desk were very friendly, helpful and quick to serve your needs.
Cons: My first night the sink was plugged up and someone was quick to come and fix the problem. However, the problem couldn't be fixed so I asked for another room. I was given another room without any problems. The toilet seat was made of thin plastic was very flimsy and it wobbled. The air conditioner worked well, but so noisy that sometimes I couldn't hear the TV well. The water in the swimming pool as cloudy so I didn't dare go in. The buffet in the restaurant needs to switch up the food selection every day. It would be great if the restaurant could extend the free breakfast buffet hours.
Location: The location was great. I could walk a short distance anywhere downtown.

Pros: is the central part of Monterrey, they always had taxis outside ready to take you places, the shower was nice,
Cons: see top
Bed was uncomfortable, too much traffic noise that did not let sleep, Housekeeping did not replace certain items in the room when cleaning it, not enough space/drawers etc for clothes, no luggage rack, and the front desk service was a little not too good.

The overall trip was good but we had a problem when we first got our rooms because there wasnt any running water in our rooms, I dont know if it was a problem of the whole hotel or just our floor. Besides that, the service was good and beds super comfortable.
