Outdoor shower is cold water only. Very rudimentary but comfortable. Location was great for the castle and the restaurant out the front door directly across the road was very good. Recommend the pork cheeks. Make reservations"

"What a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect from the reception to the lovely Villa. At reception we were greeted by Carolina, what an amazing host. Carolina was kind enough to treat us with a lovely local bottle of wine. The Villa was spotless. It looked like a model house, the garden seemed that it came out from a gardening magazine. The pebble stone swimming pool gave it a tropical feeling. The bbq area was fantastic to cook your own meals supplemented by the fully furnished kitchen prepared to cook all sorts of meals. Talking about food, oh boy the local restaurants and cuisine… mama Mia. The Villa is air conditioned, every room has an A/C, which is great because Alentejo is really hot in the summer time. By the way We had amazing weather 35C . I would strongly recommend this Villa and we already booked it for next year ;)."
