"Beautiful outside area/views/trees and plants. Definitely a place where you will want to spend most of your time outdoors! Appreciated this even more after seeing other properties where gardens were sparse. It felt very private (although there is a property next door - not sure whether this is in use). We spent a lot of time at the property and I found the outdoor chairs uncomfortable towards the end of the stay. Mid-may was cooler and much more windy than I expected."

The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). "Such a stunning find. A personable hotel, we were gifted an upgraded room for my birthday. I didn’t expect such a chic hotel, the staff were super friendly, the coffees delicious, breakfasts stunning. The cheese trolley with homemade cheese and homemade olive oil was sensational.
