Loved our stay at Camino Verde! The breakfast each morning was great and the staff was so helpful and friendly. They recommended great tours and made our experience great. The rooms were clean and the location was walkable.

This hotel is situated in the heart of downtown Monteverde which makes it very easy to go to pharmacies, grocery stores, restaurants, tour operators, laundry services, etc. Unfortunately, this also means it can be quite noisy from road noise. The walls are also quite thin and you can hear everything/everyone. Bring earplugs and you should be OK though. The best part of this hotel besides location is the price per night and staff. The staff definitely make the hotel come alive. They are friendly, gracious, and helpful. The breakfast is delicious too.

The hotel is very close to downtown, it was clean and the people were friendly and helpful. The standard room is very small, with a double bed and not enough room to have a suitcase opened. The area around the hotel it's 3rd world.

Staff were super helpful. Most people travel by motorcycle and they whizz up and down the street outside all times of day or night. Take earplugs. Breakfast was ok. Not very extensive. Problem with ants in our room.

We stayed here for two nights. The room was very nice, with a modern bathroom and high-quality amenities. Excellent breakfast is provided with a fruit plate, coffee, juice, and several choices of hot breakfast. Staff at the reception desk were very friendly and helpful in booking cloudforest tours. Highly recommended.

The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. I was desperate for a massage and the front desk clerk made arrangements for me at another hotel with a spa for the massage. It was a life saver. I was able to walk to everything I wanted to see in Monteverde

We had a great stay at Camino Verde! We were greeted by friendly front desk staff Justin who was very helpful and knowledgeable. The location is fabulous. Very walkable to town and restaurants although it is up a bit of a hill for those with mobility issues. Room was spacious, clean and well stocked with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, soaps, lotion from a local eco friendly company. View from restuarant is very nice and the breakfast was delicious! Kitchen staff were friendly and efficient. We arranged a tour of the Monte Verde Cloud Forest from the hotel which was excellent. Parking is limited but they do have enough spaces. Highly recommend

Although the room was much smaller than the photos would suggest, we had a great stay at Camino Verde. All of the staff were incredibly helpful with local suggestions and booking tours. Friendly staff and the amazing breakfast were definitely the best part. Location is great for walking to town for food or shops. Would definitely come back again!

What a wonderful surprise, the photos don't do it justice! We stayed in the one bedroom apartment and it was up to date, spacious, and had nice homey touches. The kitchen is great for eating in, the bedroom is massive, and the private outdoor area is great for enjoying the sunset. Diego was so nice and helpful from check-in, to organizing tours, and providing great food recommendations. The included breakfast was fresh and more than enough food. Definitely recommend this place!

It’s clean B&B with nice views. Staff was good, after check in front desk guy helped with luggage and showed our rooms. Morning breakfast is good in nice room with great views. Our room is clean and bathroom was spacious. It’s good for price but don’t expect too much.

If one is inclined to drive up the side of the mountain to experience the cloud forest, this hotel is an excellent place to call home. The staff, especially Diego, were so kind and took really great care of us from the moment we arrived. The room was quiet and clean, the breakfast was yummy and the view from deck was outstanding. We made a great choice.

I recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at this Camino Verde Bed & Breakfast and wanted to share my positive experience. The breakfast was amazing, the rooms were spotless, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. All this, plus reasonable pricing, made it a standout choice. I'll be returning on my next visit. Nice property, but pay attention to the room you get, ours was below the kitchen, too noisy, I couldn't sleep after 5.00 am, too dark as well, almost no windows. The price we paid was much more than the value we got. Convenient location, close to restaurants

Camino Verde is such a quaint, sweet B&B just outside of the central area of Monteverde. The staff truly made the visit; Diego and Jeaustin in particular was very helpful booking tours and transit, as well as giving us tips for places to explore. Only downside is that you have to walk up a very steep hill to get to some of the restaurants and shops, but much of Monteverde is this way. Thank you for an accommodating, pleasant stay!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights while in Monteverde. The rooms are not fancy, but clean and comfortable. Diego was helpful in planning activities and tours. We had breakfast each day with coffee, fresh fruit and other choices. We met several other travelers here and it was a short walk to the downtown area.
