Poor Management and dirty room

Pros: The hotel itself was very nice
Cons: Poor management who does not return calls even when attempted several times
We stayed in this hotel on our way to the beach. The hotel itself is very nice but our room was dirty. Upon arriving there was a dirty half full drink in the window sill. When I went to take a shower there was used soap on the ledge of the tub that was stuck to the tile and would not come up and a half full shampoo bottle spilled everywhere. The kicker was that when I pulled back my blanket to the bed there were lose hairs all over our bed. I know it can be normal to have hair stick to laundry but not that many hairs. It was as if someone went in and used the room and just made the bed without changing the sheets. I have attempted to contact management 3 times now and no one will return my call. I will not stay with a Courtyard again after this experience. It appears to be impossible to get ahold of management (who does not work weekends at this facility).

I have stayed here twice in the last 6 months. On both occasions I was "double-billed" by the property. They took the payment from hotels.com and then turned around and ran my credit card for an extra $180. The first time may have been accidental but I am not convinced they are doing this deliberately. I did tell the person at check-in that it was a prepaid room. Definitely won't be using this chain again.
