Newly remodeled hotel in a central location.Posted Oct 29, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff and central location.
Cons: The bathroom was very small and tub was in need of a little repair.
Location: Located near the Riverfront attractions. Harriett II Riverboat, Biscuits minor league baseball, The Alley restaurants, Dreamland Barbeque. Old Town.
Check-in was a breeze, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. They seemed to really enjoy working at this hotel. They were smiling and even singing to the music that was being played in the lobby. The room was average size and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was my only complaint because it was very small, but for a one night stay it wasn't a big deal. The location was easy to find, and within walking distance to the riverfront attractions and restaurants.

Not what I was expecting from this Chain of HotelsPosted Sep 26, 2015
Pros: We like that the snack store was opened 24 hrs in case you get those munchies cravings at night.
Cons: Definitely the service, cleanliness of the rooms.
To begin the hotel website specifies 3pm check in, and when my cousin and I arrived at 3pm we were told our room was not ready and that check in was at 4pm. We had just come from the airport and needed to drop off our luggage and freshen up for a Wedding rehearsal dinner staring at 5pm 30 mins away from the Hotel. Furthermore, out of the 3 nights 4 days total we were there, our room was cleaned only once - when I asked the housekeeper why my room wasn't cleaned, she said I had told her I didn't want service. This came from me asking for additional towels (I guess that meant I didn't want my room cleaned). When it was cleaned the 1 time, we came to a room with our garbage left in the room and dirty towel on the bed (no big deal)...BUT it gave me the impression it wasn't really cleaned and only the beds were made. Overall we felt uncomfortable asking for service. In addition to this, we noticed the first two nights the bar was opened past 10pm. On the 3rd night (our last night) we decided to go down and have a drink at 9:30pm...we were told the bar was closed, when we asked why so early we were told the bartender just wanted to leave early.

Not What I ExpectedPosted Aug 27, 2015 on Hotels
Hotel lobby was beautiful. The rooms were nice, however my room smelled like wet carpet while the AC was running. Only suggestion I would like to make is to add free breakfast like the surrounding hotels in the area. Secondly, that refrigerators or microwaves be added to the standard rooms. I was also charged $10 per day for parking for 2 rooms a total of $60 and I only had 1 car. I found out about the parking after I returned home and saw the charges on my statement. The manager gladly removed the extra charges, but I should have been informed during check in about the parking charges. Although the hotel was beautiful I would not return. Next time I will stay at the Hampton Inn which is just as nice with free breakfast and parking.

family wedding tripPosted Aug 25, 2015 on Hotels
The cookie was great and the location was fine, and the room quiet. We were told that wifi was free, but when trying to access it, there was a fee. We also had no idea we had to pay for parking which was very limited. The bedframe was larger than the mattress, and we kept bumping our legs on it. There was no lighting in the entrance hall, no refrigerator. The doorstop was placed in a location where when going into the closet a stumping of the toe occurred. There was only one chair in the room, so that forced someone to sit on the bed. The room was small, and the space between the desk chair and the bed was cramped. Breakfast wasn't served until 7:30 which was late.

Cons: The service in the dining area was poor.
Over all satisfied. Great location. The staff was friendly excluding the server in the dining area.
