We were not happy with the original assigned room so asked if we could possibly move to a room with a small refrigerator as we had purchased snacks and drinks. The woman at the front desk (Hilton Honors check-in desk) accommodated us and moved us to a nice room on the 5th floor (Hilton Honors floor). I appreciated the fact that she was pleasant and was willing to accommodate our request. We are Hilton Honors members and I had previously been disappointed with HH as they had taken away points for not staying at one of their properties within a certain period of time. We were very satisfied with our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. I would stay at this hotel again if in the Montgomery area.

Tough stay

Pros: I checked out of it.
Cons: The beds need to be replaced. There needs to be better instructions about parking. I parked on the street on 3 of the 4 nights I was there
Location: Plenty to do nearby -- so that's a plus.
The bed is poorly designed, being several inches longer than the mattress. I ran into both beds several times during the stay. The first time, I thought I broke my leg and left with a large contusion on my shin. Also, we had no water on one morning. We called the front desk, who said maintenance would arrive to check on it. No one ever arrived. As we left for the day, we told the front desk clerk, who then said the entire hotel had no water for at least an hour. That was very frustrating. Also, the lighting in the bathroom was awful. Finally, there was not one USB port in the entire room. Really, in 2017?

late check-in, poor amenities

Pros: Room service was good> Megan does a great job with the bar and room service
Cons: several areas for improvement check-in, broken elevator, amenities are not identified well. The room brochure and menu need updates
I was disappointed with the 1 1/2 hour late check-in, and when we finally got the room the bathroom was not stocked with soap/towels etc.. the furniture was worn and uncomfortable, really didn't matter though because the television only had basic cable channels. I couldn't believe that a "supposed" upscale hotel doesn't have on demand channels.

The only bad things were no fridge or comfy chair in the room, had to get toilet repaired first night, and the underground parking garage is downright scary. Otherwise it was great. Good food, good service, comfortable and pleasant surroundings, safe, convenient location, generally pleasant stay.

Great location downtown.

We went to a concert at MPAC and it was a very short walk. The restaurant inside of the hotel was amazing and the bar made great drinks.
