Had a great time but was really looking forward to a hoy tub spa.

It seems that you were really looking forward to utilizing our hot tub and I do apologize for the confusion about the amenities that we provide at our property. Pros: Convenience, cleanliness, friendly staff, Riverfront area.
Cons: no comment.
Location: The Riverfront, restaurants in this area was so varied, The shops are nice and cozy, the historic plaks of Alabama was very informational. Beautiful.
Anniversary stay. Very beautiful stay. Enjoyed sites downtown. Accommodations was very lovely. Would stay again. Riverfront much improved.

Nice location but not well taken care of

Wmthis was probably a nice hotel at one time but it is need of serious updates. Our room was not cleaned well and still had used water bottles on the floor. The bathroom mirror was filthy and even had hair stuck to it. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet is a disorganized mess. Very disappointing stay for an Embassy Suite property.

Slow service

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Room a teeny bit worn in spots, but otherwise very comfortable. The breakfast was great. However, the battery in our smoke alarm was dying. It continually beeped. We called the front desk but never received a replacement. My husband finally disconnected it and shoved it under a pillow so we could sleep. This is not acceptable.

Never sent a "ready" text

Pros: We liked yhe shower setup for the handicapped room and the two room setup. 2 remotes would've been nice also.
Cons: put a remote for each TV
Location: We went to a concert across the street at the MPAC, so it was nice to be able to walk there.
We stayed there Dec 8th overnight, got in about 3:10 pm for a 4pm check in. It was very busy and we were told we would get a text when room was ready. In the meantime, several people came in also and we saw heading to room, finally I decided to get back in that long line. The lady said she didn't know about being promised a text, it was a different one of the 3 working the counters. My SO was pretty hot by now for the wait, didn't get in the room till 430, and would've been nice to relax and rest up after that long drive before we had to get moving again. Didn't care for that handling. Also, it was very warm in the room by morning, even with the temp set on 66.

Great hotel next to Performing Arts Center

Pros: We like the easy access to the lobby and the eating areas. The complimentary evening gathering and breakfast are great perks.
Cons: Our experience at the Montgomery Cafe in the hotel was disappointing. Very long wait for service.
Location: The hotel is located next to the Montgomery Performing Arts Center which has many events.
We stayed at the hotel because it is located next the Montgomery Performing Arts Center. We were pleasantly surprised that it was just a few steps away. Our room had 2 televisions which was great. The breakfast, which included made to order omelettes, was exceptional. The only disappointment was the experience at the cafe in the hotel. The wait time for service was extremely long.

Just a great place with good service- fun happy hour and a breakfast that was out of the park! You cant beat it for the location.

Didn’t like that they added an extra $25 for incidentals and it will take 10-15 days to refund our money. Really? They can’t pull up on computer to check that out? I travel frequently and this has never occurred. This is the main reason for my negative review.
