Worst Experience Ever!!!!

Posted Jun 19, 2017
With a doubt, this was the worst hotel experience that I've ever had. First, they gave me a room that I did not book and because they were full, would not switch me to what I had originally paid for. As I stood at the front desk, there was a constant stream of problems coming in from other guests which included 3 broken toilets, a broken air unit and 2 rooms that housekeeping had failed to clean after the previous guests had left. Because of a lack of options, we ended up staying in the room that we were assigned. When we went to get ice from the machine the next morning, we found it completely empty. The only good thing that I can say is that the poor woman working behind the desk (by herself on a weekend) did her very best with what she had to work with. The manager did show up eventually but might as well have stayed home because he did NOTHING to help this poor girl. If you can find another hotel, go there. This one is poorly managed.

NOT BAD FOR THE PRICE

Posted May 29, 2017
Pros: THE LOCATION
Cons: NEED A REMODEL(CARPET AND FURNITURE) STAINED
THE AIR WAS NOT ON WHEN WE ARRIVED ONLY THE CEILING FAN. THE REMOTE FOR THE TV STOP WORKING BUT THE NICE YOUNG LADY AT THE FRONT DESK FIXED THAT PROBLEM FOR US. THE BREAKFAST NEEDS A BETTER SELECTION AND NEEDS TO BE STOCKED AT ALL TIMES.

Thank you for taking the time to share your challenges while visiting us. I am sorry your stay was not of the caliber that most of our guests enjoy. I did take note of your comments about the breakfast offerings and the carpet and furniture. We take these comments seriously as we are always attempting to improve.

Montgomery.

Pros: Large room. Courteous and friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing that I am aware of.
Location: On a side street with minimal traffic, to the motel only. Close to gas stations and some restaurants.
Motel was clean. Staff very courteous. Indoor pool. Outdoor patio. Seemed to be very family friendly.

disappointing experience

Posted May 4, 2017
Pros: the location was somewhat convenient
Cons: overall cleanliness of the facility
overall, the facilities were disappointing. The caulking around the shower was full of mold. the carpet smelt like they had not been shampooed in ages. I initially questioned whether the sheets had been changed from the previous Guest, thank God they were. The breakfast food was disgusting

Nice clean room

Posted Apr 11, 2017
My experience was great. Christopher went far, beyond and out of his way to assist me. My reservation was booked for the wrong date. He contacted Expedia and had them to call me. He went back and forth until my family and I had a room. I really appreciate him!!

LOVELY ROOM, GOOD BREAKFAST

Posted Apr 4, 2017
Pros: The room was beautiful--large, like a small apartment. Food area with frig, microwave, sink. Spacious room, even had a sofa.
Cons: They were short-staffed at breakfast on day #1, someone called in the sick. But after that, things were fine.
Location: Close of the highway, in a cluster of motels. Montgomery Inns and Suites is set back off Carmichael Road, so you have to look for it.
This motel is clustered with others, but a little hard to find--set back off Carmichael Road. The staff are nice and the hotel space is very nice. I believe that Montgomery Inns took this over from another motel; they have maintained a nice space. Our room was large and beautiful, almost like a small apartment, with separate food/frig/sink area, large dressing room and bathroom, sofa, desk--very spacious.

Nice clean hotel

This is a nice, clean and quiet hotel. The rooms are spacious. My family enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. The breakfast had alot of variety but the sausage didn't look done. I will be staying here again.

Sweet Suites

Posted Mar 28, 2017
Pros: Loved the staff! Spacious room. Great water pressure in shower. Nice breakfast when eggs and a meat are included.
Cons: Better Wifi and/or TV channels (for evenings and/or times of poor weather) Heat the pool, please!
Location: Easy access to interstate (not so great noisewise). Lots of shopping and restaurant options. Short drive to downtown & the capitol bldg
Family had two rooms for four nights. The one with a king bed was spacious; the one with two doubles was even more so. Both had a small kitchenette sink and nice counter space. Our rooms were on the backside of the building against the MLK Jr expressway so it was very noisy. I carry earplugs with me, but even they didn't block out the louder vehicles (and sirens) when the AC wasn't running. Ours were odd numbered rooms; would go even numbered for less noise. Very soft beds (we prefer firm mattresses, but you can't please everyone). Wifi --at its best--was awfully SLOW! Mostly, it was nonexistent, so our iPads were useless. That was bad for the 4yr old grandson since the choice of TV stations was very poor. Only two of channels were geared toward kids and those were for older kids. The pool & pool house were very cold. An indoor pool was a selling point in my choosing this hotel. My husband would've benefitted from some therapeutic swimming during our stay. Nice fitness center; I enjoyed my workouts on the elliptical. Two of our breakfasts included eggs & a meat along with a wide variety of carbs (bagels, muffins, cereals, English muffins). The weekend ones had biscuits & gravy in place of the proteins, so it was a huge carb overload. We ate elsewhere one of those days. Staff was VERY friendly. They would be a reason I would stay there again.
