Cabin with kitchen, near Indiana Beach Amusement Resort
Cabin has one bedroom with a queen bed and a futon in the living room. Full kitchen including refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans, and cooking/eating utensils. There is a private bathroom with a tub. The living room has a Roku TV ( you can sign in with your accounts). We provide an outside charcoal grill for guests to use (charcoal and lighter fluid will need to be purchased). Cabin has a large deck with a seating area. We are a pet friendly resort, there is a $50.00 one time pet fee. GUESTS NEED TO BRING LINEN AND TOWELS FOR THEIR STAY, THE RESORT DOES NOT PROVIDE THIS COMPLIMENTARY. The beds will all have mattress covers and pillows are provided, but sheets, blankets, wash cloths, bath towel, swim towels, etc. are the guests responsibility. All guests staying at our resort can utilize our resort amenities - heated pool, boat docks, communal fire pits, basketball hoop, volleyball net and (2) playgrounds. We do have a general store where you can pick up camping essentials, such as toiletries, snacks, fishing gear, ice, etc.
Welcome to the Outrigger Resort, a family owned and operated lake resort in Monticello, Indiana. Choose from 3 lakefront cabins and 20 other recently updated cozy cabins. The resort is located within walking distance of Indiana Beach Amusement Park and has 170+ feet of water frontage on Lake Shafer. A normally constant level lake that offers ideal conditions for boating, waterskiing, jet skiing, swimming, fishing. There are many activities for family fun here at Outrigger Resort. A swimming pool, dock for fishing, 5+ boating docks, volleyball, horseshoes, corn hole, kids play set, and a large shaded lawn for games and picnics or cookouts.
Air-conditioned accommodations at this cabin offer coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to patios. Accommodations are furnished with sofa beds and dining tables. Kitchens offer refrigerators, microwaves, and cookware/dishes/utensils.

Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations. This Monticello cabin provides complimentary wireless Internet access.

I loved how close it was to Indiana Beach - literally your next street over. Right on the lake, beautiful view, lovely dock. The Cabin was remodled and very clean, it was perfect. The front desk let us check in very early, and was extremely accomodating. However, we got locked out of our cabin for over 2-hours in the evening. Our lockpad wouldn't open the lock. I tried calling the office for 2-hours, with NO ANSWER. I tried calling their emergency line also, no answer.I have a 4 year old son who was ready for bed so you can imagine how fun it was being locked out. Finally, someone who worked there pulled up to the office and was able to open our door. By that point, we had called the cops to come open our door or to help us get back in. We had our family dog in the cabin waiting :( We were at the point of just getting a different place to stay for the night and coming back to Outrigger in the morning. This was beyond poor customer service, I was livid.
