Le Montmatre Saint Pierre Hotel Best Western

Better staff manner has to be a must. At first I was given a room with a blocked window and the heating not working. The deputy manager said I had to stay there until the following day. I asked for a refund so he changed me to a three bed room, the head manager called me on the phone screaming saying I had to leave the room the following day and that there was no problem with the other room, so I said let's go back to the previous room she said it had already been taken...Then they gave me a third room with the air vent just in fromt of the bed. The vent would turn on cold at about 2 or 3 am. the air again was not controllable to suit my needs, every time I change the settings it would go back to the original of whoever set itand stat blowing cold air isn the small hours. I was left with one towel and no soap. The approach of all the staff was always very unpleasent. They would only answer to my good mornings if there was someone else around, otherwise their bitter face and manners. Eventually since that was the fashion I took it up myself and followed suit.That lasted seven days. I have used BW many times in the past and NEVER had had anywhere near an experience as ungracious a with Le Montmatre Saint Pierre. I wonder if Best Western is aware of the disservice this management is doing to the chain.

Clean hotel room, dirty neighborhood

The hotel room was nice, but the area the hotel was located in, was incredibly dirty and felt unsafe.

Sketchy neighborhood getting worse

We stayed here four years ago. Neighborhood was sketchy then and much worse now. But its only three blocks to better environs in Montmartre.

Cons: Miserable/cold staff
The elevator was creepy, the check-in man was rude and miserable, but it worked fine for our needs overall. Definitely nothing splendid.

Good value for the money
