The staff was very kind and accommodating. I would give them 5 stars! Unfortunately, the rooms and area of the property were more like 1 to 2 stars. We stayed two nights, one of which was the 21st of June- the date of France’s music festival- where every bar in the city plays music until well after midnight. Despite being told this is their only noise issue, we encountered nearby bar music and loud drunk patrons until the morning again the next night - a Thursday. Despite being on the 5th floor and on the back of the property, if you are affected by noise, this is probably not the property for you.
Our room number 51 was on the top floor and away from the lift- our request which the staff was amazing for honoring! The room was a standard room that was for 2 people- I think it’s better for one person who is less than 4.5 feet tall. The ceilings on one side are slanted low so you are bound to hit your head often. The door handles are too large for the room so you will hit your arms every time you walk by them which is painful after 4-5 times. The toilet door is extremely heavy so you will struggle each time going in and out. There is little amenities in the room- no bathrobe, no cotton swabs, no slippers (can ask for them at front desk though and they will provide). The shower is tiny and only offers a bottle of shower/hair “gel” which is locked in such a way that it is difficult to dispense. Overall, staff is great! Rooms are not…
