Hotel is moderate to basic but staff are very helpful which really made a difference to our holiday in Paris. Thank you to the whole team.

Great place close to Montmartre

Posted Jul 30, 2017 on Hotels
Located only a block away from the base of Montmartre. Grocery across the street. Gare Nord within 10 minute walk, many restaurants nearby. Hotel was clean, staff was efficient and accommodating. Local area filled with tourists, have been advised to be wary of pickpockets, but didn't notice anything untoward. Take food and wine to Montmartre to sit and watch the sunset over Paris.

Montmartre fabric district hotel experience

Posted Jun 28, 2017
Our room was clean but smallish. Fabulous shower with great water pressure. Thankfully there was a fan because it was hot outside. Other reviewers had negative things to say about staff but we found them to friendly and helpful with local restaurant recommendations.

Ok hotel in great location.

The hotel itself is non descript, just a decent place to sleep. However, it is 2 blocks fron Sacre Corur and a few more to Painters Square. With Anver metro station 3 block away it was easy to get around the rest of the city also. Like most of Paris, no air conditioning or fans in the room so stay out until after dark. There are entertainers on the steps of the church, we took snacks and sat in the grass to watch.

Rooms are tiny and the old build is very difficult for accessibility. Too many door make impossible to get your bags inside the room. Location is great , considering the tariff

Great Location

Posted Apr 20, 2017
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: All fine - remember this is Paris!
Location: Perfectly located
Perfectly situated at the foot of Montmatre and close to Metro. The room requirements didn't turn out as planned and the super friendly staff resolved it quickly. Breakfast was fine, nice touch to call us when there was free space for us.

Cool location

The hotel was a bit old, hasn't been remodeled for a while. That said it was clean. Was convenient to metro and close to restaurants, bars, and to The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris.

It was supposed to be a non-smoking hotel, but my room and the hallway stunk of both new and old smoke.
