Thye don't care.

Posted Oct 1, 2012 on Hotels
The tourism office in Montpellier phoned the hotel about it's location and was told it was accessible by the tramway system. THAT WAS A LIE! I I took the line 3 tram as directed but found myself relying on citizens for directions, walking a distance to take a bus and eventually walking 500 meters to the hotel, located in an out-of-the-way industrial area. There were no restaurants or cafes open in the evening, and what really distressed me was the "smiling, please go away attitude" of the hotel's lady manager when asked where I might find a place to eat. She casually snubbed me. And she knew I didn't have access to transportation. A question to two bikers going by as to where I might find a restaurant elicited a response that it would be an hour's distance on foot. I wouldn't return there if it were the only hotel on earth!

Nearly a Nightmare

Posted Aug 26, 2012 on Hotels
We were not at all pleased with our night at this hotel. The whole thing could well have been close to a nightmare. There were 2 main issues. The first stemmed from the fact that when we phoned in advance the receptionist could not speak any English. We couldn't understand her, and after arriving after the reception had closed at 9.15pm, it took us an hour to realise we had to register automatically at a machine outside at the front gate. The second issue which we were very upset about was the fact there was a prowler lurking outside our front door in the early morning hours for about 20 minutes when we had been unable to properly close the room front door because the door was too big for the door jamb. The hotel should not leave the gate open at night because anyone can come in, and the property is isolated in an industrial area.

Friendly staff and close to airport!

Posted May 25, 2012
Location: Very close to airport in an industrial area. No restaurants or shops nearby.
Clean and staff welcomed us upon our arrival. Perfect for an overnight stay prior to heading to the Montpellier airport which is a five minute taxi ride away. Make sure to ask for a taxi and not a private car as they charged us 15 euro for the 5 minute ride to the airport!

Posted Oct 13, 2012 on Hotels
