Hotel in South of city

I ordered a taxi for 6.50pm. At 6.30, I received a phone call from reception saying the taxi had arrived. I pointed out I was not yet ready as I had ordered it for 20 mins later. Shortly after, I got another phone call from reception saying I would have to pay for the wait. I said that was unacceptable as it was the hotel's error. When I went down for the taxi at the correct time, the taxi driver still expected me to pay for the wait. We both had to go into the hotel again to get them to take responsibility, which they should have done as soon as I pointed out the error.
