Good stop on Souther France road trip

Posted Jun 15, 2015 on Hotels
Pierre & Vacances Résidence Le Levant are self-catering apartments less than a minute from the beach. If you don't mind sleeping on a sofa bed and if you are with a car, it's perfect. The sofa-bed is easily set-up, fresh linen are provided when you check-in and the kitchen well equipped (no oven, but you probably stay there in summer anyway). Super markets are a 5 minutes drive (or 10 minutes walk along the beach) and you can order fresh bread for breakfast the next day at reception. Great for a few days on the beach.

Wonderful location!

We were very happy with the hotel. We especially liked the well-equipped kitchen and the fact that we were able to prepare our breakfasts/lunches, without having to go to restaurants all the time.

Value for money

Posted Sep 18, 2006
This is the best value for money holiday I had so far.The hotel is very close to the beach and the swimming pool was very well looked after. The receptionist is very friendly and helpfull. We had a lot of fun trying to get two sofas into a double bed and then gave up . Don't go looking for luxury. It is basic , very clean and in a prime location.

take your chances

Posted Jun 4, 2006
This is NOT a hotel but rather a block of basic apartmemts. The walls and doors are thin and if your stay co-incides with a group of loud noisy German teenagers on a tour bus beano (as ours did) then forget sleep as you will be kept up all night on your sofa bed! Also, reception is only manned for certain hours of the day and is empty at night. The rooms were clean though and if you werent bothered about neighbours partying and willing to take your chances then best of luck to you!

Does the job

A really tight squeeze in the room, but good facilities and reasonable value for money. The building is not exactly beautiful, but what do you expect in La Grande Motte - an absolute nightmare from the seventies?

vacances déçu literie

Posted May 6, 2014 on Hotels
La literie des studios est une catastrophe canapé lit qui grince impossible de dormir. Parking 45 euros une belle arnaque. Sinon l emplacement et la résidence pas mal . Mitigé pour moi!
