Near to the metro station ( mont royal)

Posted Jan 14, 2017
Near to the metro station and from there you can go around Montreal with 30$ cost for weak, but they have to take attention more about the guest supplies.

Jazz bar below playing loud music till late

Posted Sep 12, 2016
Pros: The staff
Cons: The bed, TV location
Location: Close to metro but there's street construction currently
The nicest staff but bed is a lumpy futon, TV mounted near ceiling so poor viewing angle. Bed is too big for the room and too low to the floor. There is a jazz bar below and the music is loud if you have a room on the first level and they play until late, around midnight or even a bit after. Not sure if you could hear it if you're on a higher level. Bed should be raised so it's easier to get off the bed and TV should be mounted at bed level, not near the ceiling. The staff is very nice, not their fault about the design of the place. The young brunette was very nice, very accommodating and should get a raise. Close walk to Metro Mt. Royale, but I'd pick a place with more comfortable accommodations the next time.

Thank you for taking the time to review our establishment. The Plateau is lovely and friendly reputation, with its book stores, food stores, cafés, terraces and restaurants. We look forward to welcoming you back !

Totally convenient, everything you need!

Posted Jan 31, 2016
Pros: Everything
Cons: There's no desk in the room when the Murphy bed is down, but there are tables you can work at down the hall. Really, the space conservation is amazing
Location: St. Denis and Duluth are the heart of the Plateau, with wonderful stores on either side and good restaurants on Duluth and St. Denis.
Lovely, compact room -- refrigerator, electric plates, microwave, sink, coffee, pots, silverware, EVERYTHING! Great lighting, comfy bed, very helpful staff. Perfect location. SOMEONE really thought this one through!

Great location, central on St.Denis. Great jazz bar next door. Friendly staff. Accomodations are perfect for travellers like me who want something simple, functional, and reasonably priced. I will be back next time.

This was two star hotel at best.

Not great. Small room. Two star hotel at best. Snow fell no one bothered to clean off the stairs up to the hotel - even after two days. Hotels like this would be the reason for using Expedia.

Simple, comfortable, central

Posted Oct 26, 2014
Location: Longish walk to museums, St Catherine's, old city. Close to McGill, Plateau, Mile's End, Mt. Royal
Second stay in this simple guest house very conveniently located on Plateau in Montreal. The essentials: croissants for breakfast, coffee, wine, stovetop, refrigerator. No pool, just nice views of the rooftop cats. I will make this my HQ from now on.
