Would go back!

Posted Feb 26, 2017
Pros: Everything, especially the quaintness.
Cons: Include breakfast with room. Make shower a little smaller or not so close to the toilet.
Everything was perfect. When we got there, they had upgraded the room. The bed felt like it enveloped us. The bathroom was magnificent. Shower was a little big for the bathroom, and I bumped my head on it in the middle of the night in the dark. So leave the light on in the bathroom and close the door. The wood floors and exposed beams were so authentic and inviting. Staff was warm and accommodating. Because of all the construction, view of the port was not impressive during the day, but gorgeous at night.

Splendid hotel in Old Montreal

Posted Feb 16, 2017
Pros: Great staff always ready to help, guide, suggest... Historic building with nice upgrades and first rate beds.
Cons: Walls not soundproof, but typically guests are not noisy...
Location: Charming part of town, full of galleries, restaurants and bistros - close to downtown...
Had a very relaxing few days with museum visits and great meals thanks to the insight of the hotel staff...

Location: Many good restaurants and bars/pubs near by.
Spent a couple of nights. The hotel is very conveniently located near to the attractions of Old Port Montreal.

Great location

Posted Feb 2, 2017
Pros: Bed very comfortable, bathroom well equipped, great view. Great staff.
Cons: Coffee maker in the bedroom (coffee in the lobby 24/7). The bathroom has a modern raised sink which left little room for personal toiletries.
Location: Across the harbour, 5 minute walk to City Hall, Bonsecours market.
Perfect location in Old Montreal, across the street from the Harbour. We stayed in a Deluxe Room (River Front). The room was long and narrow similar to a cruise ship cabin with Iron posts in the middle of the room. If you get up in the middle of the night the iron posts could be a little dangerous. Everything in the room was modern including the bathroom. Lobby was inviting and comfortable to sit and read a book. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Had a really great stay and would return.

delightful place to stay in Vieux-Montreal

Posted Jan 24, 2017
Superb in all respects. Literally right out the back door is Rue St. Paul with many great places to eat and shop. A short walk from the hotel gets you to museums, the symphony, theaters, and the Basilica Notre-Dame. It felt like being in France. We already plan to come back.

Quick trip to Montreal.

We had a great short stay here. It was our second visit and we will definitely be back again. Perfect small boutique hotel to stay right in old Montreal. Found the Cold Room lounge nearby and it is a must try. Great experience and cocktails.

Wonderful hotel

Very quaint hotel, great location, friendly and helpful staff, great value for where it is. There is a bar/ restaurant connected to the hotel. Only had breakfast and beer at the restaurant. The eggs Benedict and the crepes are good and not too expensive. Definitely will come back to this hotel.
