Small boutique hotel in the Latin quarter
Posted Sep 14, 2016
This small hotel is located on a quiet street near the university, lined with eateries of all types.. There was a three-day street festival going on when I was there, welcoming the new and returning students for the start of the Fall semester. It was orderly fun with some loud musical performances, which I could not hear from my room. The hotel is within a short walking distance of the central bus station and the metro. I used public transportation for all my travel needs including the airport. Old town is a 15 to 20 minute walk. The front desk staff were just phenomenal. They spoke English, and took the time to help me plan out my sightseeing itinerary. The included continental breakfast was average, but had all the needed ingredients. I had a suite, which was well furnished, large, and clean. My only negative comments would be the lack of elevators in this hotel, so if you have large suitcases, and get a room on the top (third) floor, then you better have a strong person in your group..

Thank you for this review and for choosing Auberge Le jardin d’Antoine.
This review is very pleasant to read. I am happy you enjoyed your stay with us. We will share your comment with our team here which is devoted to make your stay a good one in our beautiful Montreal. There is, in fact, no elevator in our hotel but, if we can, we will try to help with luggages. Junior Suites and Suites are on the higher floor (as it is noted here on this site) . Standard rooms are mainly on the reception level and are the best option if stairs is a major issue for you. Thanks again
We look forward to welcome you back .
