I had called ahead to confirm the reservation and mention how excited I was as it was our first wedding anniversary. When we got there, they asked us the purpose of our trip...which is not exactly a big deal, but when you know a guest is coming for a milestone or a celebration, Hotel 101 says you note the file. Some hotels provide perks or upgrades, I didn't even get a 'happy anniversary'.
The room was mediocre because of the chunk of glass on the bathroom floor when I first walked in. The mini fridge made so much noise it kept me up at night. The elevators are odd because of the two working, one of them only fit two people at a time.
