Parking, the reason to use this place, is a scam

Cons: Worse than parking your car on the street, because at least then you'd be fully aware of the risks and free for all service you're getting
I returned to find my vehicle had its tires and rims stolen. While I understand that I incurred some risk and liability in parking my car long term, I also expected Econo Lodge Aerport in Montreal to abide by some duty of care in attending to my car in exchange for payment, which they absolutely did not. 1) the have no car checkout procedure - I went in and asked if I had to check out my car (before finding out what happened to it). They said no checkout is necessary. This means they don't even really care about periodically running an inventory of a lot---the whole purpose of providing your car's license plate # and information at check in is to sign a waiver and place liability solely in your hands. 2) I talked to a Mr. Singh who works at the lot. He said he reported what happened to my car around the 2nd of January to a manager named Toni. She did not act on his report or notify me of what happened immediately. Instead, I had to wait until I arrived on the early hours of the 7th to find out what happened. It also appeared that the receptionists were surprised to hear what happened when I found out, which again suggests very scant attention is paid to the actual lot. Meanwhile, new customers kept parking their cars around my vandalized car in a complete free for all environment. 3) complete lack of customer service after finding out the vandalism happened - when I told the receptionist about the theft, she just shrugged and pointed towards the phone to call 911.

Affordable Stay

Pros: Quiet and Private
Cons: The Parking need a lift / Add a place for Breakfast or Lunch - The faster internet connection/ Anti Slippery in the bathroom/some carpet cleaning
Location: not really too much thing to do in the vicinity you will need a car to easily wonder out in the cold and Montreal is a vibrant and abundant city
its an affordable stay specially in the middle of Quebec Cold season. If you are looking for a private place to stay out of prying eyes its the place to be with different access point you can spend your whole stay and never have to cross the front desk again. its may be human or a time process I get checked in by a moderately rude lady in the opposite the gentlemen checked us out was very nice. Get ready to deal with the following : 1-Location, if you are driving by GPS its may be hard to find them, they have a big sign on the main street on a very empty lot while the facility is at the very end about 900 to 950 meters away 2-Parking is a shame you will need to use some old trick to find a parking slot 3-No Breakfast, No bar no night activities 4-Carpet all around need some clean up, Beds are narrow and small but comfortable they definitely put some Anti-slip on the bath tub and the bathroom floor, I have had several unwanted skiing session in there, I have been lucky not too break any part but its not sunday everyday. They also need to give each room the opportunity to adjust the heat as we were like chicken in a hot oven with no way to adjust it. Its overall an average experience for a private and quiet stay in Montreal minutes away from Trudeau.

Paper thin walls made it very difficult to sleep. TV from other room could be heard as well as voices

Good for the money

It was a nice stay for the price. Free parking on site was convenient. All the staff I encounter with were very pleasant and helpful!

Its was excellent. Room was very wide and beds are very comfortable. Excellent staff and welcome us everytime. The good thing is bilingual.

Did not get what we reserved. Reserved a room with a king bed. Got one with a full. Floor filthy. bathroom dirty. Tub had problems. Overall bad experience. Parking was a problem.

staff was helpful tho we waited a long time for the shuttle to pick us up, i'd read a review that the hotel smelled funny but didn't notice that. it is hard to find.
