Not a bad place to stay

Staff were friendly and the rooms did the trick. It's right by the airport but nothing else.

Location: Close to the airport
Hotel outdated Unfriendly checkin person No working outlet close to the working desk Very slow internet Never again in this hotel

They charged me a deposit I have not recovered ye

Hotel is old but okay for a short overnight stay, however, they charged my debit card with a USD 52.54 deposit (an actual charge) that I have not been able to recover. I phoned the hotel, they said 5 days to clear, and here I am a month and a half later still waiting. I guess that says enough when it comes to making up your mind about where to stay.

Horrible hotel

I would not stay here again. Thermostat in the room was not working. 93F (31C) on arrival. Air conditioner did not work. Maintenance man came tried to fix A/C it lasted 5 minutes. He took batteries out of thermostat and was suppose to come back, I never saw him after that.

Bad room location Path room is very small and narrow Path room and kitchen facility is poor

Nice hotel close to Airport

Pros: Availability, Price, Proximity to Airport, Shuttle.
Cons: More carpets on the ground floor where there are rooms. the floor is interlock or cobblestone and its loud when people pull there wheeled luggage.
Location: Nothing to do near by. it all happens inside the hotel.
This hotel is great for families going on vacation and need to stay 1 night before flying out or when they return. The pool area is in the center of hotel in a resort like setting. Restaurant and bar are also right there and fun games for adults and kids like air hockey, ping-pong and pool. Perfect to get you into the vacation mindset or extend when you return.

Ok for a few hours

Hotel is old, not like it looks in the pictures, but Ok for a short stay if you are in between flights. I think one can get something better at their rate.

It's what is on the inside that counts

Pros: The room had a fridge - always a great amenity. We had one server who really went out of his way to engage the kids in the restaurant. Very friendly.
Cons: Change the faucets in the tub (rusted out), the drain plug barely stayed in place, change the rotting wood around the baseboards, increase hot water.
Location: Location was not important for us during our stay.
I am more inclined to focus on the good, however, there was less good to outweigh the negative. Suitable hotel for a family (only because of the pool), the staff are nice-ish, for the most part. My husband and I received two wine glasses filled with stringy material and little floating bits peppered throughout. It was rather unappealing, and when I brought it to the attention of the bar, the server put on his specs and said that these were mere crystals that form in the wine. There was nothing crystalline about the crud in our wine. He was reluctant to do anything about it, displayed some attitude, and tried to pass the wine back. It was only when we refused to drink it that he poured two new glasses of clean and clear wine. My husband and I still paid and tipped the server, and only then did his attitude change. Definitely did not appreciate the temperamental behaviour. The food is borderline, definitely overpriced, the hotel room had hair on the walls, and the faucets have a retarder on them to prevent the water from getting hot. It was uncomfortably cool. For $200/night, never again.

HABS WEEKEND

Our room key cards continued to not work throughout both days. Really irritating! The first room we were in didn't have working plug outlets and lamps. We were moved to another room on 2nd floor, which was better but room still needs a fresh look. We asked for a roll away bed at check in that we paid for and it took them 4hrs to bring it to our room after several calls to front desk The lobby and pool areas were comfortable and kept the kids entertained. Pool was warm and enjoyable. Easy access out of hotel to hwy, 25min drive to downtown Montreal and Bell centre. Big mall close by about 10min. Overall enjoyed the weekend, but I have stay at better.
