Nightmare getting into this location.

Posted Sep 18, 2016
We drove around downtown for an hour trying to get to the front door because the published address was wrong. The GPS could not find it. Then the lobby was on the 2nd floor with a line waiting to check in! The location was close to the tour bus and Old Montreal however, Everything in and out of this city is under construction. Very annoying.

Dear Pam, Thank you for taking the time to share your website. I am truly sorry for all the construction happening in the city - unfortunately, there is not much we can do about this! As for the address, we changed last year (previous address was on Viger Avenue) in order for our guests to have the parking entrance available with the GPS. As it is a newly created address, perhaps it was not showing on your GPS? I am sorry about that. We still hope to welcome you back, Annie

Comfortable Stay Close to Everything

Posted Sep 9, 2016
Pros: Super helpful staff Comfortable room Great location
Cons: Doors not good sound insulators. Hallways really loud; you can hear everyone's room. If you have adjoining rooms, you can hear the neighbouring room.
Location: Notre Dame Basilica Old Montreal Shopping Restaurants Subway
We booked this room for 2 nights, 1 night through AIRMILES, and the other night through Expedia. The staff was able to consolidate the two bookings so that we did not need to check out each morning or change rooms. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a bit far from the elevator, so we will request a closer room the next time we stay here. The hotel itself is close to everything. The Basilica is within view from the main entrance. Walking distance to Old Montreal and dozens of restaurants. The subway is right across the street (with a convenience store and Tim Hortons also available), so we did not need the car at all during our stay.

Great location.

Posted Sep 8, 2016
My husband and I stayed at this hotel with our two boys, 6 and 8. They boys loved the pool. Hotel was quiet at night, had a great sleep in our queen-sized beds. Hotel staff were friendly. Great location - loved that we could walk through Chinatown, and only 5-10 minute walk to Vieux Montreal. Great quick get away from Ottawa. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice Location

Posted Sep 3, 2016
This hotel was in a nice location between old Montreal and downtown. It is also located very close to a subway station so nice for commuting from. Our room was clean and quiet and the staff were all very friendly. The only down side was that there were no fridges in the room and the vending machines were down for part of our stay.

Nice hotel in the heart of Chinatown

Posted Aug 31, 2016
Pros: Great location in the heart of Chinatown with easy access to Old Town
Cons: Gym is too small and lacks weights.
Location: Lots of attractions within walking distance including Old Port, Old Town, and Notre Dame.
Located around the corner from a bustling Chinatown with great bakeries, restaurants, and bubble tea places. 5 minutes from Notre Dame, the Old Town, and a few minutes more to Old Port. Well located in a very walkable section of town. Pleasant, Chinese-inspired lobby with a business center. Rooms are spacious, clean, with good quality linens and toiletries. Free WiFi for IHG rewards members. Didn't sample the food here but with so many restaurants nearby you don't need hotel food.

Great Montreal experience

Posted Aug 16, 2016
Pros: cleanliness and location
Cons: It would be nice to have a continental breakfast option.
Location: There is old Montreal, Chinatown, shopping, museums, great restaurants, etc. Many tourist options are nearby or are a close taxi ride.
This Holiday Inn was an excellent value! Rooms were neat, clean, and spacious. The convenient location was in Chinatown which was near the Metro, Notre Dame Basicilica, and Old Montreal. Staff was helpful and informed. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay for my family. My only con would be that it would have been nice to offer some kind of continental breakfast for a reasonable rate. The buffet fee seemed expensive. However, Starbucks is nearby and that was wonderful! I would recommend this hotel to travelers and would return again.
