Cons: The gym is very small.
Location: Try Holder for dinner 50 metres away. Le Cartet for breakfast.
Have stayed here for over 10 years. Great area. Try Le Cartet down the street for breakfast.

Was nice...I wouldn't go back thoPosted Oct 17, 2015
Nice enough hotel, but plain rooms and the bathroom was smelly (sewer problems?). With so many boutique hotels in Montreal, I wouldn't go back....

Great stay! Great location!Posted Oct 5, 2015
Right in the middle of the sites and restaurants we wanted. Nice peaceful area. Very friendly doormen. The ladies at the desk to check out were not very coordinated or friendly, but definitely not the worst. The hotel is beautiful and clean and well equipped. Also the rooms are very quiet and spacious for a beautiful older building.

Excellent emplacement dans Vieux-MontréalPosted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: Emplacement, Service, Personnel

Centrally located a stones throw from old Montreal (Notre Dame Basilica), more restaurants than you can count, shopping from souvenirs to high end trendy fashions in very close proximity, also close to the metro and the underground city...Nice Bar Restaurant on site (Hambar)

Beautiful building nearOld MontrealPosted Sep 14, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location, gorgeous old building. There is a parking lot right behind the hotel which was only $20 per day.
Cons: The decor in the rooms - much too bland, more storage for clothing.
Location: The Port is a very close walk as it Old Montreal, also an easy walk to everywhere, we didn't drive or take taxis so the location is excellent.
The hotel is stunning on the outside, but our room was very sparse and plain and although I like clean & modern, the room was too stark. No decor whatsoever and there were no drawers to put clothes in and very little closet space so we had to live out of our suitcases which is annoying. The location was excellent - very close to Old Montreal, but not in the loud and rowdy heart of it, so that was great. The shower was powerful which is good and the toiletries were a very good quality. Staff was great, no complaints there.
