The overall hotel was pretty good the only negative was that housekeeping did not clean the room.

Spartan Comfort but rough around the edges.

Posted Mar 5, 2017
Pros: Beds were comfortable. Price was competitive. Some of the staff were excellent.
Cons: The gift shop/store should be open when the hours say it should. The vending machines need to be improved. Needs to be bedside power outlets.
Location: Could not be better
Stayed 2 nights. It's the last time I ever pay ahead for 2 nights. The rooms were so much smaller than the photos but very comfortable and clean looking. The lack of electrical outlets was an annoyance. The gift shop/store had hours posted on the door but It was never open when I checked. The vending machines refused to give change and sometimes refused to give the food that was paid for. some of the staff were excellent but one was very dismissive to my daughter when she asked for change. The woman checking names for the included breakfast was basically rude not making eye contact once. I know it's a budget hotel but I think that any hotel in a country like Canada should offer better service and amenities than this. One poorly stocked vending machine for soft drinks and snacks is not enough.

Good location but the hotel itself is not the best

Posted Mar 4, 2017
The room was very small (hard to even move around), breakfast was awful, room cleaning wasn't good. Fire and life safety devices in the hotel were most definitely not up to code, and would therefore not function in the case of a fire. Also, you must sigh in for the continental breakfast which I have never seen before. Good location but not the best hotel.

Good day dear guest! Thank you for staying with us. We work hard to make our guests happy and we appreciate your feedback. We are sorry to know that we did not meet your expectations and we want to apologize for any inconveniences. The only thing I would like to specifically address is the fact that by law our anti-fire systems are inspected every 3 months and they should be up to date , then we believe that they are safe and trustworthy. We wish you a great day . Cordially

Rooms are really smalls, but ok for a short stay.

Posted Mar 1, 2017
Pros: cheap and clean.
Cons: Put the coat hanger in a more convenient place.
Rooms are really smalls, but ok for a short stay. Clean and good location if you are on business trip. Near the Central station and metro.

Good centered location in the city but!!!!

Posted Feb 22, 2017
Limited parking spots that when I saw the Expedia ad it explained that it was included "but then Expedia rushed me into booking and paying for the room since it's the last one they had" which is how they make you pay fast without taking you care of these little details and obviously it wasn't the last one EXPEDIA. They charge you a 25$ for a parking spot on a very average parking garage . Also a security deposit of a $100 that Expedia didn't mention before or after my online payment to book the room."which did state that I am all good and no hidden fees" and the security deposit will won't be returned if you "smoke in the room" and shall b2 refunded if all is good. I have been to many countries and different hotels/motels from the very cheap ones to the high end ones . No one ever charged me a security deposit . Lastly the included breakfast is weak . I woke up thirsty to find out that room service dosent send water to the room and you as a guest should somehow jump out of bed and figure out a way to secure water to drink . Called the receptionist to let me know that my options are either the Restuarant or one of theach vending machines in the hotel . Lastly . Had to use their desktop computer and there is only one and there is no chair for you or sit while working . So be prepared to practice the art of sending emails and printing documents and reading important files while standing up and leaning towards the screen . Small rooms too . Go to another hotel .

Clean, good location, very small room

Posted Feb 21, 2017
Pros: Clean, good location
Cons: Rooms could be a little bigger.
Great location right downtown, walkable to old Montreal - the room was good for just a one-night stay since it had four beds, one for everyone in the family, and was very clean. But longer than one night and we would have gone stir crazy since the room was extremely small. Staff was helpful with advice on things to do and getting places for our first time in the city. Nice continental breakfast in the morning.
