Really great hotel,alot of places around close enough to walk,would definitely stay here again awesome price

Only one minus - rooms are not soundproof.

Pros: Every thing else
Cons: Soundproofing the rooms.
Location: Great.
Only one minus - rooms are not soundproof. You can hear your neighbours.

Perfect location/ valet could improve

Pros: Overall great location in downtown Montreal. Everything was mostly in walking distance. Staff were very friendly Clean hotel room Cons: Could have better lighting as you had to turn on multiple lamps to lighten the room at night. $100 deposit upon arrival (was not made aware of this fee at any point in time). Valet services need improvement as when we arrived Friday night the 15 min reserve spot to park your car were entirely full for a very long period of time (drove around the block multiple times, close to 20-25mins). I had to get my bf, who was driving, to drop me off at the front so I could go in and tell them there was no spot to park and then they had one of their staff members come out and quickly take the keys because we were in a "no parking zone" Then the next day when we picked up our car for the first time, we noticed a great deal of abuse to the engine (fuel consumption was very high meaning someone was driving the vehicle very aggressively). We notified the staff about it and they respectfully credited us the valet fee for both nights we were staying ($28/night)

Close to everything you'd need

Being close to the subway lines (around two blocks) makes this hotel very useful. The cleaners missed our room on the first day so we had to ask for clean towels but other than that it was a great stay

Staff are nice and kind. Room was clean and hotel was well located in the city. Continental breakfast was fresh and good quality.

Great hotel for affordable price

Pros: quietness, unique decor, in-room amenities (sink, microwave, dishware, cutlery, mini fridge), free wifi network for each room
Cons: Add better lighting to rooms, improve the strength of mini fridge refrigeration (highest setting is still weak).
Location: great location, short walk from a metro station and bus stop at the corner. right next to chinatown, entertaininment district, downtown, oldport
Check-in was quick, hotel staff are polite, rooms are always clean and is in walking distance of the entertainment district, chinatown, old-port, and downtown shopping areas.

I will definately go back. Good location and nice place. Room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant was very nice and the food and service amazing. They also accomodated me by letting me check in an hour earlier and check out an hour later...for free..

Disappointed

The water was extremely dirty. Cupping your hands in the sink, allowing the water to puddle you could see the extreme cloudiness. The water was not clear at all and more of a gray or white. Made it very uncomfortable to brush teeth or shower. The stains on curtains and seat in front of bed made us uneasy as well. The threads in the blanket adding to the already dirty/cheap feeling

Amazing!

Pros: It was easy.
Location: Perfect - walked to Chinatown, Downtown, Place Des Arts etc.
Loved it - I was super stressed out with a tricky accomodation situation and hotel 'Zero 1' was absolutely perfect.
