The hotel and staff was excellent, better than what I expected. It is close to everything, however the area where the hotel is located is very dirty and I didn't feel safe. FYI: The parking garage next to the hotel is only good for small SUVs, You might need to look for other options if your vehicle is too big.

We were really happy with our stay here. Comfortable, spacious, updated room. We enjoy walking and explored downtown and old town Montreal. So many lovely restos just two blocks over on Rue St Denis. (Really nice Thai at cute little Mia Thai and Italian style pizza at Campari.) Pleasantky surprised by the included breakfast buffet - several hot items, toast and bagel station, yogurt and granola, fresh fruit, etc. Not gourmet of course, but a good meal to start to the day! Staff were all really good! Super couteous and helpful.

The hotel was beautiful, efficiently run, spotless, and very comfortable. Parking was reasonable at 23.00 per day! Free breakfast was included! Walking distance to many of the sites we visited and Metro Station nearby! Highly recommend and would stay there again on our next trip!

Really nice Hotel , clean, good breakfast, We stayed on 20 fl city side view. Parking fee we have to pay. Staff nice . You can walk trough hotel to supermarket and Starbucks coffee with out going outside the building. Sauna nice and pool also. We enjoyed whole stay in Canada.

The door lock was dysfunctional, preventing me from securing my door. The assigned repair person proved to be difficult to interact with. Moreover, the lock had evidently been forced before, leaving marks on the door and a dent on the metal frame. Overall, the experience was unsafe, compounded by the unpleasant demeanor of the staff.

We stayed with family. It is a nice place just within walking distance of many shopping and dining options. The hotel also offers breakfast, which was a nice addition to our trip. Additionally, there are excellent facilities available if you need to work, study, or exercise. It's definitely a great place to come back to.

The parking garage is only 2 levels and fills quickly with shoppers—while checking in, myself and about 6 others checking in were directed to the National Library’s parking garage, which isn’t too far, but tricky to get into. It’s about a 5 minute walk back. No valet, no room service. Elevators did not seem to be functioning properly—only 1 of four seemed to be running during morning check out, and I ended up walking down the stairs twice after waiting for many minutes for an elevator. Very inconvenient in the most basic areas. Nice pool, though, and the room was very clean.

Not impressed, parking is super limited, crowds around hotel and ambiance not pleasant. Found a roach in my bathroom and the elevator situation is horrible. During rush hours, you can be waiting more than 10 mins to go up or down. Also, breakfast menu is not rotated - same meal the 3-days I stayed.

TL;DR I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. Although it has been recently renovated, it's a lipstick on a pig situation. I asked for a room away from the elevator and that was quiet when I booked and it was acknowledged, but was given a room closest to the elevator and facing the street where a concert was playing for two nights night until 11. So that wasn't great. The overall layout and design of the lobby and bar area isn't very inviting or somewhere I'd like to hang out and have a drink. The elevators are a problem. Only 2 or 3 worked out of the 4 and are very slow. Not enough elevators for how large the hotel is. We could hear our neighbours above us and beside us walking/stomping around so it's not very soundproofed. The area the hotel is located in is a bit rougher, but you're a block from the Metro and St Denis is around the corner. Breakfast is ok, but there are long lineups after 8:30 am. The parking lot is tight with very, very low ceilings. If you drive anything larger than a sedan you might have problems. We also smelled cigarette smoke in our room one night even though it's a non-smoking hotel. The man working the late shift was great and moved us to another room. I sympathize that it's hard for them to catch, but packing all our stuff at midnight was a pain

lift malfunction on 2nd day of stay and not sure due to that the breakfast items were ran out though the staff still admitting the people in. Due to the height restrictions you can't park large SUVs on the hotel parking facility so had to park on alternate parking facility which was not bad but you have to pay every time you take your car out. It is better to mention about this limitation for any future travellers...
