We rented the room because of convenience went to see a concert. Room was not clean and the service at the front desk was not a great experience. we had not enough towels and no clock in the rooms....anyways overall review is less then average.

Not a good hotel to stay, especially if you have kids. Good: The only good thing is the location. Breakfast was okay. Bad: Customer service: Asked for a quilt and was told it will be sent to the room but it never arrived. Lots of drunk people yelling in the hallway through the entire night. Heard a couple shouting at each other in the corridor using all kinds of nasty language in the middle of the night.

The hotel was quite dirty and the insulation between the rooms was not great - we could hear the conversations and music in the room next to ours. The staff were kind, but the quality of the hotel/infrastructure is lacking.

This is one of our favorite hotels in MTL! The view from the room is absolutely exceptional. It is well worth the extra cost. The dining options at the Doubletree are superb, and it attaches to a wonderful mall.

This was our first trip to Montreal from the states and it was a perfect experience. We are a family of four with two young children. The staff was welcoming and made up for a delay in the room being ready. The facility was beautiful and well maintained. We opted for the daily breakfast which was in a lovely dining room and had great options for young kids. The in-hotel restaurant was OK and did not have a lot of options, but it was a nice space. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted. The valet staff were so accommodating and kind. We will absolutely return and hope to stay at this DoubleTree again.

This DoubleTree was an excellent decision for our Christmas holiday stay. The location is central to everything in Downtown Montreal. There's no need for a car, everything is in walking distance and the area feels safe. There are numerous delicious dining options and if you prefer to stay in, meals can be delivered and collect from reception. The elevator requires a key to get to each floor, which we loved as it added an extra layer of security. There's a very small fridge in the room, but its more like a wine cooler than an actual cold refrigerator. That's the only thing that stood out as needing to be changed. The staff are incredibly pleasant and everyone is willing to assist when needed. A great bonus is that the hotel is above a mall with food court, a grocery store, amazing restaurants and more. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and can't wait to return.

Damaged vehicle and lies
Valet parking locked our keys inside the car and damaged our vehicle with a taxi driver that we did not authorize to access our keys inside the car. Manager staff was not forthcoming with information and if we had not insisted, we would not have had access to any information regarding the damages.
