Fun but limited

Fun place, great modern art all over; breakfastvalue poor, there in a blizzard so reluctant to go outside and find a cafe... Heating a bit noisy. Staff at front desk awesome!

Great hotel downtown

Posted Mar 13, 2017
We had a great experience although it was for a short weekend in Montreal. Checking into the hotel was quick and friendly staff provided outstanding service. Lots of cool areas to visit and experiences were great overall except for the chilly weather in March. We highly recommend this gem to anyone seeking something unique and different in Montreal.

Great hotel in the old port of Montreal

Near many shops restaurants and a big cultural center. Gym could be updated and room service could run later into the night. Great hotel overall.

Great hotel in the heart of everything

Posted Dec 28, 2016 on Orbitz
Location: It's in the Old Port, right down the street from Notre Dame. Great food nearby (try Gibby's) and neat shopping
Love this hotel. Great staff, excellent service (even on Christmas) and its close to everything you want to do in Montreal. Our room was huge and bright and had a great view. The hallways are full of art (we had a Warhohl on our floor) and it was just devine. Can't wait to go back

Close to St. Paul Street. Oldest city neighborhood

Posted Dec 27, 2016
Pros: The Ambiance.
Cons: It is funny that they are so green friendly that replacing a bar a soap never happened in four nights but replacing bottled water happened every day..
Location: The location is perfect. Dead center of Old Montreal a just a walk to many historic sights.
Montreal is a beautiful city to visit in Winter and can't wait to return in the Summer to see it in a different light.

Needs some tender loving care

Posted Dec 25, 2016
This Hotel has the potential to be a fabulous Boutique Hotel but really needs a makeover. It is very tired and has few amenities. It is definitely a 3 star Hotel at most.

Lovely large rooms and nice location

Posted Dec 20, 2016 on Hotels
Great little hotel with lovely rooms. Even though we got stuck on the main floor, the room was very large and spacious with high ceilings and nice artwork. Bathroom was well appointed and clean, though the shower was so-so (half the water still came out of the lower tap). Location is great for exploring old Montreal. It's right on the border of the old town and downtown so it's also a quick walk into town or to the Metro. Staff were friendly and helpful.
