Hôtel accueillant

Pros: Buffet du petit-déjeuner.
Cons: Un rafraichissant de l'hôtel serait le bienvenu. Fonctionnement des ascenseurs (parfois 10mn d'attente lorsqu'un seul ascenseur fonctionne...).
Hôtel idéalement situé, en plein centre-ville de Montréal. La qualité des chambres (taille, traces d'usure, propreté) est un peu décevante. Néanmoins, l'équipe de l'hôtel veille à rendre votre séjour agréable : par exemple, pas de difficulté pour changer de chambre lorsque j'ai signalé un dysfonctionnement dans les équipements. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner est très riche et varié.

Location: Location is good for english speakers, many english speaking pubs on crescent street because of concordia university.
Particle board furniture was peeling everywhere. Carpets were stained. Tiles in shower were moldy. Electrical sockets were cracked. This sad little hotel needs a complete reno.

Nice overall

Nice and clean. Very modern look inside, probably recently renovated. Good location for visiting Montreal. Our only complain is that the price that we paid with promotional discount did not include breakfast which was not specified in the promo ad. So took one star for that.

Downtown Montreal Novotel-The place to be!

Pros: Location, upgrades are appealing. Best part were those who work there-everyone was great!
Location: Stayed here mainly to attend the concert at the Bell Centre
Despite the construction surrounding the hotel, we were greeting with kindness and enthusiasm. Mitchell at the front desk made us feel like we had come home. He was awesome! Our needs were met and the service went over and above the call. Loved every moment of our stay. The only part we didn't like was that we only had the time to spend one night! Would have loved to have stayed longer. Thanks Novotel and thanks Mitchell!!

Easy access to all downtown stores

Overall the hotel is good. Just that the drain in my bathroom were clogged and it was "temporary fixed" after an hour waiting. The parking lot has tight turns.

Awesome hotel! A hop from St Catherine's!

My first time in Montreal and I could not ask for a better location - just literally a half a block away from St Catherine's Street - a busy and happening strip with lots of shopping and eateries. I was impressed by the comfort of the room, its' cleanliness and how helpful staff were. With my limited French, staff were able to quickly switch to English and provided me with clear directions when necessary and great recommendations. Thanks Novotel!
