Tv was not working and when the issue was reported. I was told that there were no maintenance staff available to come fix it. I was not offered any reduction of the room rate either.

Great location, close to crazy amounts of food, entertainment and general touristy options. Metro station only a couple minutes away, if youre going to a different part of MTL. Driving and parking would be annoying around this location due to the amount of construction around.

I booked this hotel on basis of reviews I saw but it was all a sham. Such bad smokey smell in the room, dirty curtains, freshness was not a part of this stay, it felt so stale.

Elevator slow, wait time is atrocious, had to take stairs (7th floor). Parking is difficult, parking lot is not attached to hotel (also have to walk and take elevator to underground parking) Rooms are not soundproof at all I will not return

Only one out of three elevator was working Sunday morning, and the elevator for no more than 6 people. Waited more than 20 minutes to go downstairs from the 10th floor and both of the times the elevator came, it was full. As we had to go we had no choice but to take the stairs with our luggages which was not ideal but had no choice, we informed the staff but she laughed it off. We also got woken up at 6;30am because the fire fighters was on our floor and we can hear them talk loudly. No apologies was received. The parking wasn’t in the same building. The smell of the room was very strong.

The staff make this hotel the best I have stayed! Everyone is happy, helpful and kind. There is construction across the street but it did not change the experience. If you’re coming to Montreal, stay here. Worth every penny!

We got our stay upgraded without being asked which was great! Boosted up to the 23rd floor along with a complete suite. Staff were super friendly and helpful- walked us through every step along with confirming our payments. Only staying with Marriott from now on.

The bed was old and uncomfortable and there was a loud mechanical sound from their roof ventilation that was really unbearable. Not what I expect from Marriot, we will not stay here again.
