Comfortable and inexpensive

For the Sunday night online price of $50 this was a great room. I was tired on my long drive and simply needed a place to sleep. The room was clean and comfortable. The room was much larger than I expected. The check-in didn’t take too long and the complementary breakfast was quite good with a lot of different offerings. I would stay here again if the price is similar (under $60). It’s not fancy but it’s more than adequate.

Pros: clean
Cons: more information on ways to get to airport eggs
Location: I walked downtown so for me it was accessible. However, I wish, I could have found a tour to the Black Canyon Park.
The man in charge was helpful. The woman did not have many answers. The room was extra clean, The maid's even did some special folds with the towels and the paper in the room. Great proximity to the airport.

Older motel in town. It has been remodeled nicely. Was perfect for me, one or two night stay.

Nice room with two problems

We spent three nights at the Montrose DI and were comfortable and well treated except for two issues: no WiFi and an old U shaped bed. It was a king bed so we could work out positions. The room was clean and the hotel was well managed. It was a good location, close to Black Canyon Nat'l Park and good restaurants. I would stay again but would request a newer bed.

The Wi-Fi connection is very poor

Location: location was good
it was to be a handicap room which it was not so it was not a safe room. It was a up hill to roll the wheel chair to have breakfast.It seems very clean, not real friendly though!

Needs an upgrade

This is aging property. Paint peeling from walls in bathroom. Old mattresses. The free wi-fi was down most of our stay. Coffee at free breakfast had grounds and was watered down.

Montrose Colorado Hotel

Pros: It was clean and the staff pleasant.
Cons: nothing
Location: Colorado National Monument - take time to see this!! Black Canyon of the Gunnison - another one not to miss!
This hotel was a bit older than others we stayed on during a road trip - but it was also comfortable. The room was very clean and the staff pleasant.
