"Excellent place to stay to visit Evora. The hotel in itself is so interesting and beautiful with a rich history. The outdoor pool provided a refreshing break from sightseeing. Must do….wine tasting and tour of the convento. Breakfast was delicious but a bit disappointed with our dinner at Olive restaurant as not up to a 5 star standard "

"What a wonderful experience. The setting is magnificent. There is beautiful furniture and art everywhere. The service was excellent, the rooms very modern and clean and the dining was first class. I had mentioned on my dinner reservation that it was my husband’s birthday and the waitress brought us a complimentary glass of bubbly and wished him happy birthday - very nice touch! Would highly recommend. "

"What a little gem this place is, a perfect little find, the location is absolutely stunning, there are loads of pools to choose from and the breakfast is fantastic. Rooms were spacious with great views, beds were very comfortable and the family space had 2 bathrooms which was a bonus. Staff are friendly and accomodating. We went a bit out of season so not much to do outside of hotel, but a top space to just relax and wind down. There are some lovely little local restaurants but be mindful you will need a car to get around as this hotel is very remote. Only one more tip, bring an iron as there was none in the room and the wash/ironing service is costly. I would return in a heartbeat, loved it 😍 "
