Overall a nice hotel. A bit dated and could do with a refurbishment. Room was very warm, air conditioning was not working despite a request to have it looked at. Room furniture was rather dated and the space was not very well used (felt cramped). It is a beautiful building in nice grounds. Nice area with some very good restaurants within a couple of kilometres.

Lovely old villaPosted Aug 11, 2016
Pros: Friendliness, old world feel
Cons: Little bit hard to find with GPS
Location: Lovely dining facilities at hotel.
Offered room in lieu of one booked due to faulty air conditioning. However pleasant staff and surroundings made up for it.

Better than expectedPosted May 6, 2015 on Hotels
Hotel exceeded my expectations. It really looks better than on pictures. Very quiet, good sleeping quality, big and beautiful parking lot, friendly staff, nespapers and magazines in the breakfast room and rich breakfast, especially for italian standards. Very close to Imola, about 10 km.

Excellent hotel - great valuePosted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: Friendly helpful staff, superb grounds, clean, well maintained hotel with great local food.
Cons: . . . Room quite small but it was an economy room & was still a good standard with spotlessly clean ensuite.
Location: Traditional agricultural area. Not far from small towns and villages with coast or Tuscan hills not far away.
The hotel was extremely well maintained with beautiful grounds and the room was spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and amazingly helpful at all times. Meals at the hotel were of a superb standard and used local produce in season. Sitting eating by the pool eating dinner after a days exploring was a real treat, especially with the friendly helpful service. The stay at the hotel was a highlight of our holiday, the area is very quiet and rural which suited us but you need a car if you want to explore the area during the day. Car parking is at the rear of the hotel in a tree shaded area so you car isn't roasting when you come to get in it. Hotel highly recommended and would use it again if traveling in this area of Italy.

"Would definately go back"Posted Sep 30, 2009 on Hotels
this hotel is ideally set in a quiet location but with a supermarket , bars and restaurants within walking distance. There is also a main bus stop which will take you into Imola. Any further travel will need a car. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the whole hotel is spotless and well kept. The shower was a bit weak and Tea/coffee facilities in the room would have been a bonus, but for the price this hotel is excelent.

Hotel agréablePosted Sep 9, 2008 on Hotels
