1950's style.Posted Sep 29, 2015
Pros: Quiet location. Clean. Not the Ramada.
Location: About 7 miles from town. Went into Beaufort by the waterfront. Very nice. Nice dinner at The Spouter Inn w/waterfront dining, saw wild horses.
It is "off the beaten path". No phones in rooms, no cell service, quiet, comfortable for a 1 nite stay.

Very nice staffPosted Sep 7, 2015
This was a quiet place. The best part was the personable service of the staff. Everything was clean and ready.

Nice, Accommodating Proprietors!Posted Aug 29, 2015 on Hotels
The proprietors of this little hide-away are very sweet and will bend over backward to accommodate and make your stay welcome. They have a nice continental breakfast and the rooms are very clean. However, the water pressure in the showers is low (they use water conserving shower heads) and the Lodge is located in a very rural, out of the way spot along the inter coastal waterway (so expect to be out in the country if you stay here). The cost was reasonable for a one night stay.

Simple but very cleanPosted Aug 18, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel is several miles from town, but is in a very nice, quiet setting. The rooms are nothing fancy but are very clean. You don't have access to the air conditioning to adjust the temperature, but there is a ceiling fan. The staff is very friendly.

Very outdatedPosted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: it is quiet
Cons: pretty much everything
Location: there is nothing to do nearby......you have to drive a long way to get back to civilization.
This would be great for fishermen who just need to catch a few hours of sleep but I don't recommend it for family vacations. It is very old and outdated. Tiny rooms and out in the middle of no where.

Nice quiet place to stayPosted Aug 3, 2015
Very nice and helpful staff! Clean, quiet and comfortable. No frills, no dvd or radio, not good lighting in the bathroom for putting on makeup and no pool. That being said we really enjoyed ourselves and will stay there again.

clean, nice management & priced nicePosted Jul 25, 2015 on Hotels
Wanted an inexpensive room that was close to Cherry Branch Minnesott Beach ferry. Great stay, including a nice fix your own breakfast bar. Wish we still had our jet ski because it would be so easy here on the ICE. Room was clean bed was comfortable.
