Room was large but very outdated. Carpeting had rips and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. The noise from the hallway could be heard throughout the night. Hotel staff was extremely accommodating and friendly and breakfast was good. I just felt the price of the room did not support the condition of the accommodations.

Good breakfast , a little old, forgot to clean one day, friendly staff, light over sink didn't work, air conditioner noisy but efficient. For the money a 4 plus.

Hotel in downtown Morgantown

All in all, the hotel was in very good condition for a hotel that was built in 1925. The internal layout and décor were very pleasing and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. The only disappointing thing that I encountered on the final morning of my stay was the continental breakfast. The cooked food was cold across the board and had to be microwaved by guests to warm it up.

Disappointed ☹️

Pros: Beautiful old building! Staff is friendly! Close and convenient to town. The rooms appeared to look clean. Breakfast good. Air from a/c unit fresh. Cons: Our room was never serviced from day to day. Didn’t enjoy seeing stains on bed skirts or bed sheets. Didn’t like seeing body hair on the bed sheets that wasn’t mine. Workmanship on things that apparently needed fixing were half assed/not properly fixed. Pricing is overpriced. Appeared to be understaffed. *Might be back to see if changes were made and to hopefully give a better review. If changes aren’t made please don’t say that you weren’t warned. Please note that cleanliness, things fixed properly, up to date brochures, and a friendly/knowledgeable staff equals a happy customer. Happy customer equals $$$ in your pocket.

Walk to WVU

Weekend

Stayed here several times before. And I will probably stay here again in the future. This trip was a little bit disappointing though. We had absolutely no water pressure for our weekend. They also had some issues at one point with the elevators. But, they are in downtown Morgantown. And the price is reasonable.
