Lobby is very nice. Air conditioning is not working, shower rod was broken but functional. Clean property, good value.

The driveway is difficult to get into because the traffic in front of the hotel is often VERY BUSY and people block the driveway while in line for the traffic light.
Our room (107) has several problems. One of the assist bars in the tub is falling off and essentially not usable. Plus 3 of the outlets in the room(s) were dead.
Our room was clean but the thermostat was broken and it was unbearably hot! We had a hard time sleeping since it was so hot in the room. I felt like I was sleeping with a heating pad under my sheets.

It was adequate for one night. Front desk staff was very nice. Room needed updating - - leaky bathroom faucet, ripped carpet, stained sofa, noisy AC and saggy mattress on the bed.
The hotel is always a wonderful choice for us; it's our favorite in Morgantown. Our room was VERY warm last night though; it was uncomfortable for the most part. This won't deter us from staying there again though.
The only way rooms are going downhill. Curtains in our room were shredded and they apparently decided not to replace them. Been staying here for 8 years and the rooms have gone down hill.
They did do a beautiful renovation of the lobby a year or so ago.
I mistakenly forgot t lock my car (it was in the first handicapped spot) and I had $700 in cash and 2 checkbooks stolen. Not a good way to start a vacation. And I did not discover the loss until I arrived at my destination.
We loved our room. It was clean and did not have a smell to it. It’s an older building but you could tell they have really tried to keep it repaired and up to date. They were willing to accommodate a late check out which we didn’t need. Breakfast included waffles, muffins and premade breakfast sandwiches along with yogurt and fruit etc. We would definitely stay there again if we come back to the area. They have 2 pieces of furniture in the hotel that I thought were beautiful. Two tree stumps taken out when building it were converted into tables. A really nice touch.
It was nice and the lounge area was classy but the breakfast needed some work . I got there at 7:30 am 1 muffin left , green bananas, soggy fruit bowl , and hard bagels

Hotel was decent but walls are thin and staff was noisy first thing in the morning. Breakfast was adequate and location is convenient to everything WVU
The lobby and seating area was beautiful - very appealing. The breakfast was good and the staff all the staff were delightful.
Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. The couch was in need of a cleaning and the walls were in need of repair. Those were the two things I noticed the minute I walked in.
I would stay there again.
The hotel was not able to check me into the hotel room until after 5pm due to the room not having been cleaned. As a result, I was late for the event for which I had traveled into town. I requested a rate adjustment while checking out, and the desk agent told me that yes that was possible, but that I would need to go through Expedia. Guess what- Expedia wasn't able to process this either.
This property is convenient to WVU and WVU Medical Centers. There are dining options within walking distance and a bowling alley.
My only complaint was the condition of the walkways and parking lot when it snowed.
