Hair on the shower walls. There was nobody at the hotel when I got there at all. The was completely empty. But yet they decided to put somebody right above my room all I heard was him up there walking around and making noise all night long and morning

Honestly, it's a motel. So I didn't have high expectations. The worst part was the bed. The bed was horrible. I'm not a heavy person myself. But that bed was bouncy and sunk in in the middle. It was so bad we checked out and found another hotel to stay at. Otherwise it was fine. It's in a good area and plenty to do too.

We were very disappointed in our stay to say the least. Upon Walking down the hallway we both looked at the carpet on the floor and thought how filthy the carpet was.The room seemed fine until we went to bed and there were socks in between the sheets that didn’t belong to us. We were completely disgusted when we realized they hadn’t put new sheets on the bed but rather just pulled up the comforter and called it good. The man behind the counter told me mistakes happen. This wasn’t a mistake. They chose to not put new sheets on the bed after the last people slept there. Leaving us to crawl in to bed on the same sheets the last people slept on. They did give me a new room but never offered anything other than an apology after arguing with me. I am very disappointed in the super 8 chain as I expect better than this. Next time there is a pair of complimentary socks left in the room I hope they leave them on the nightstand and go ahead and make the bed up with fresh sheets.

Outdated and poorly maintained
The room was poorly maintained. Many gouges in the walls. Hole in the wall in bathroom adjacent to sink about one inch in diameter stuffed with paper towel and aluminum foil. The room was very outdated and uncomfortable. Would never stay there again.

Super 8 Review
I was expecting more from a Wyndham property. Toilet bowl was stained and breakfast did not have hot items. Overall, the hotel was fair to good. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Amenities were practical.

The side door was broken so we always had to use the front. The room had a strong cleaning chemical smell to it as did the hallways but the smell in the halls was mixed with cigarette and marijuana smell. Sheets had cigarette burns on them. Also kept having flying bugs in the room. I'm not familiar with the bugs around here butnthey looked kinda like Boxelder bugs from the west. And our door wouldn't close unless we forced it closed.

An ok stay for the cost.
I was disappointed that the TV did not work. It came on and I could regulate the volume with the remote, but not change channels. The receptionist came to try to fix it, but couldn’t. Also, the bed was less than comfortable and the cover had some small stains. Other than that, everything was clean, the heat worked well and I got the rest I needed. I appreciated the coffee and the granola bar.

Absolutely disgusting and smells.
Check in took 15 minutes, the entire building reeked of smoke and weed even though it was a "non-smoking facility" and "non-smoking room." The hallways had ash scattered all the way down. Our room smelled so bad we were afraid to touch anything or put our 2 month old down on any surface. The bathroom smelled like pee and the toilet looked as though it never had been cleaned. The chair in the room was covered in obvious stains and smelled horrible. The bed was comfortable enough but given the condition of the rest of the room/building, we were nervous to even sleep on it. Neither of us could relax enough to actually get any rest so we left as early as we could.

There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and room and they tried to paint over it. The bed cover/sheets were filthy with dirt and dog hair. Theres water damages. The bathroom was filthy and the toilet paper was used and wet. This was by far the worse experience/super 8 I've ever been to. I do not recommend staying here due to the filth and health violations.

Affordable for a WVU football game
No frills, keep your expectations low. Affordable for a home football game at WVU but needs a lot of updates. Window screen cut open and 1/2 missing, no batteries in the hotel room smoke detector, the fire extinguishers last inspected in 2018. Vending machines broken. Coffee, granola bars, and yogurt cups available in the morning. People live there (a school bus dropped off children during our stay).The room was just ok, clean enough. No extra towels available.

There was no quite time, kids of employees riding bikes threw parking lot. Drunks screaming and hollering in parking lot all the way to their rooms. 10 out of 10 do not recommend.

Disappointed in THIS Super 8
Have never stayed in a bad Super 8, we usually choose Super 8 because they are pet friendly and clean. ROOM 316! My husband read reviews after the first night in the hotel. Another person had posted a review for what looked like the same room! With pics! The hard floors were FILTHY! My cat walked around exploring for awhile, then jumped on the back of the toilet, leaving BLACK paw prints. Shower head not properly functioning, no pressure. Smoke detector missing. Lock on room entrance door hanging with one screw. Air conditioner kept cutting off, third night quit completely at 3a. My husband attempted to unplug to reset, the electrical socket came out of the wall and sparks started flying. We just left it alone at that point. Not able to open windows for air circulation, no screens and we have a cat. Continental breakfast consisted of chewy and crunchy granola bars, coffee, powdered creamer. The lobby was dirty, same dirt the entire time we were there. Elevator dirty. Carpets dirty and in disrepair. Managers children? running all over lobby, in and out of elevator.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. When we pulled up to check In there was not a car around. It looked like a run down abandon hotel. A sign was on the door stating they were under renovations. We went on a Thursday and there was no work going on. The vending machines were out of order. Or room was disgusting. The tub looked like it hasn’t been clean in month. Brown soap scum around the middle of the tub, hair stuck to the side of the shower wall. The curtain was stained orange on the bottom. There was a urine spot under the toilet seat. The chairs at the little table in our room were stained so bad. The sheets were wrinkled like they were not even washed. The worst hotel I ever stayed it.
