This was an ok place. Room had a musty smell but it wasn't horrible. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was better than expected.

The staff. 1st the lady taking care of the continual breakfast was great clean efficient. The front desk personnel was friendly and helpful. The ladies cleaning between stays was friendly and the rooms were very clean. The hotel itself is a little outdated but still nice

This is a convenient location (right off freeway) next to a Cracker and Barrel. There are ample parking spaces (well lit at night) and we did not have any problem to park our RV. The breakfast is very good. We got a room facing the freeway initially and could not get to sleep due to the road noise. I went to the front desk at mid-night and the staff switched us to a room facing the parking lot which was much quieter. We really appreciated the accommodation we received.

Our first queen room did not have any sheets on one of the beds and we had to change rooms. Then we were given a key that would not work in the lock. The desk attendant was very nice and apologized. The hotel outside is getting run down but the room was clean and beds comfortable.

The property is creepy. We arrived at 6pm and the lobby lights were off. Why? The staff was nice but not welcoming. I had to say hello and greet them. Our room was in a different building that was supposed to have room key access but the door was being held open by tape. Our room was on the first floor and anyone could have come onto our balcony. We had flies in our room - multiple. And, my favorite part was you had to nearly break the handle or your hand to flush the toilet. The rooms looked updated, but the place is not well kept. I really don’t see how they have such a high rating. Should have listened to the bad reviews that said basically the same thing.

The tube didn’t drain properly, so while you was taking a shower you was standing in water. The bathroom vent fan was loud and the television did not have very many channels.

A decent, affordable option on I81
This hotel was older and that showed - there weren't a lot of outlets, everything showed it's wear a bit (for example, vanity in bathroom was badly cracked). That being said, the hotel was clean, breakfast was decent and I felt safe. Plus the bed was comfortable (though the pillows were kind of small) and that is always a plus.
